To: Better Business Bureau August 18, 2022 ***************************************************************************** Dear Sir/*****:My wife fell and broke her leg on January, 2022. She was admitted to ****************** for surgery. Aftersurgery, she was takento Palm Garden for Phyiscal therapy, which went well. When my insurance ran out, I paid cash for an additional week of room and board and therapy. My wife did not stay at Palm Garden for that full week. She was discharged on Wednesday, Fehruary 16, 2022.I paid Palm Garden $2,625??? For the extra week. Their *************** (Claudettte) agrees that Palm Garden owes me a refund of $1,125.00 for the days I paid for but my wife did not use.She, (*********) has told me that the check is in process, it just has to be signed off by somebody (?) in the Finance area. Five (5) months is long enough time to process a check.The dispute here is not whether Palm Garcian owes me the $i,125.oo or not, but when are they going to sign the check and send it to **** call Palm Garden multiple times per week, but all I get is the operator who transfers me to the *************** (Cladette), or the ***************** but all I get is their answering machine. No one calls me back. I have also called *********************, who I understand is the Director of the facility. He never calls me back. I'm sure that that they know it is me when I call, and won't pickup the phone.My wife is 81 years old, and I am 80. ********* is a lot of money to us, and we struggle financially.Would you please help me in this matter by contacting Palm Garden and get this issue resolved?I would certainly appreciate anything you can do to help.Sincerely,*******************Customer response
