I connected with ******l via ******** in July 2021 to discuss purchasing rims. After confirming that he owns a business and researching his business, I decided to conduct business with ******l and purchase my desired set of rims and tires from him. My first transaction to ******l occurred on September 2,2021, and my final transaction to ******l occurred on October 15,2021. The transactions were made via ******** pay and Cash app, and totaled the discussed amount of $6,700. I received an invoice from ******l confirming the payments and a zero balance, and was told the rim package should arrive around October 28,2021. This date came and went, and I had been in contact with ******l periodically to inquire about the status of the rims. However, I was repeatedly given excuses as to why the rims have not been received. I have gone as far as reaching out to the company directly that produces the rims (***** ******), in which I learned that the company no longer does business with ******l, and hasn’t done so in well over a year for the very issues that I am experiencing with doing business with him. I also learned from ***** ****** that there are several others who recently have called the ***** ****** company with similar complaints about ******l. I have spoken to ******l on numerous occasions regarding an update on the status of the rims following my phone call to ***** ******, without revealing to him what I have learned, but I’m consistently given excuse after excuse. I asked ******l for a refund on January 3,2022, and he requested two weeks to give me the refund in full if the rims had not arrived yet. On January 17,2022, ******l did not answer the phone, texted me to notify me of a follow up after the holiday. I spoke with ******l a couple days later, and have consistently been advised that he will follow up with his “accountant” whom I have no contact information for to ensure the collection of my refund. I have yet to receive any payment for my refund at this time.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: it has been almost two and a half months since I’ve requested a refund. ******l lies to me, the police, and everyone else about how he is issuing a refund, but has done nothing more than just wasted everyone’s time. I’m treated as if I’ve invested no money or time into his business, and I’m either left on the phone on hold for hours at a time or just plain out sent to voicemail. ******l had all the time in the world to answer the phone, and even made courtesy phone calls and sent messages checking in on me prior to money being exchanged, but once he received money from me, I was no longer treated as a priority customer. At this point it’s been all talk, and once again, I’m enduring a major loss with absolutely no compensation from ******l.
