I connected with Gabriel via Facebook in July 2021 to discuss purchasing rims. After confirming that he owns a business and researching his business, I decided to conduct business with Gabriel and purchase my desired set of rims and tires from him. My first transaction to Gabriel occurred on September 2,2021, and my final transaction to Gabriel occurred on October 15,2021. The transactions were made via Facebook pay and Cash app, and totaled the discussed amount of $6,700. I received an invoice from Gabriel confirming the payments and a zero balance, and was told the rim package should arrive around October 28,2021. This date came and went, and I had been in contact with Gabriel periodically to inquire about the status of the rims. However, I was repeatedly given excuses as to why the rims have not been received. I have gone as far as reaching out to the company directly that produces the rims (Rucci Wheels), in which I learned that the company no longer does business with Gabriel, and hasn’t done so in well over a year for the very issues that I am experiencing with doing business with him. I also learned from Rucci Wheels that there are several others who recently have called the Rucci Wheels company with similar complaints about Gabriel. I have spoken to Gabriel on numerous occasions regarding an update on the status of the rims following my phone call to Rucci Wheels, without revealing to him what I have learned, but I’m consistently given excuse after excuse. I asked Gabriel for a refund on January 3,2022, and he requested two weeks to give me the refund in full if the rims had not arrived yet. On January 17,2022, Gabriel did not answer the phone, texted me to notify me of a follow up after the holiday. I spoke with Gabriel a couple days later, and have consistently been advised that he will follow up with his “accountant” whom I have no contact information for to ensure the collection of my refund. I have yet to receive any payment for my refund at this time.
