      My wife and I had our first child born ~2 months ago. A few days ago we received a bill from Pediatrix Medical Group describing services of *********** at Delivery" by a ***************************. We thought this seemed questionable as all of our other hospital bill went directly to insurance, yet this one had no insurance documented. Additionally, we have never heard of ***************************, nor Pediatrix, and specifically requested a female Dr. during delivery (i.e. no male Dr. was there!). I called Pediatrix and they stated that *************************** may have just been available on the floor, and requested by an NP, hence warranting a bill for his availability during attendance. Yet, after requesting and receiving our comprehensive medical records during our hospital stay, there are no records of ***************************, nor the requesting provider's name that was given us by Pediatrix. As such, there is zero record of the supposed services rendered by Pediatrix. Through reading other reviews of this company, it seems that this is unfortunately a common occurrence. I have responded with this information to Pediatrix Medical Group, stating the invoice is inaccurate and unwarranted, and am waiting their response and resolution.

      3 year old daughter was taken in to diagnose her sleep apnea. New patient visit that lasted no more than 20 minutes with the doctor. Maybe 5 minutes looking at our daughter and 15 minutes talking to us. Was charged $1175 w/ CPT® code *****: New patient office visit, 45-59 minutes (according to ****************). We saw another doctor at different facility, had nearly an identical visit and was charged half of that using CPT® code 99203: New patient office visit, 30-44 minutes (according to ****************). Called Pediatrix to try and get this resolved because we definitely feel like we were overcharged and they just told us that there was nothing they could do, except set me up on a payment plan. Since the visit, that location has closed and the doctor we saw is no longer affiliated with them. We feel like we got scammed.

      I had my son in Oct 2021, Pediatrix Medical Group billed me a year later saying that I owe them $6500. Come to find out my insurance paid them $1,277.46 leaving me with a balance of $5,224.54 (Per EOB) however Pediatrix Medical Group did not adjust the amount owed leaving it at $6500. Its been a battle with these guys fir 2 years and they refuse to help anyone, ive read all the BBB complaints, i was charged for a dr my son "supossidly" had seen in his NICU stay named *********************** and the same "Dr" for our discharge, ive never heard if this dr **** we were in the hospital, Pediatrix Medica Group "cannot" find the check that was given to them in Feb'2022 before I was even billed for this surprise bill. They sent me to collections when I was wrongfully charged and they know it, *** tried calling this so called collections agency FCOA and no one will ever get back to me.

      This company is obviously a scam. They sent me a bill for a date way before my baby was even born. You cant view or test a baby that isnt even here yet so Id like to know where this bill came from. Ive talked to all of my doctors offices and hospitals and the date of being seen isnt even a date that I went to either place. They provide no phone number or other information in regards to addressing the bill, just a link for me to pay the bill. They didnt even provide the ** so that I could see what the bill was for. Hope they enjoyed spending money to send out this bill because Im not paying for a service I never received.

      This number keeps harassing me. Day in and day out about another person's debt. I have told them several times stop calling and remove my number they do not stop. Which is ridiculous but I'm tired of saying over and over its not me. NOT EVEN THE SAME NAME THEY ARE LOOKING FOR. I have tried to call and tell them to remove me from their calling list as well but it's automatic prompt system set to collect payment. I block their number they call from other numbers. I want my number removed immediately from their call list.

      My son was born at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. I paid the Hospital the deductible before I left thinking everything was taken care of. About one or one and half year later, I received a collection letter from Financial Corporation of America regarding an un paid bill from Pediatrix Medical Group. I didn't think it was a legit bill because I was still in the hospital the day of service. So I did a appeal to the Financial Corporation of America but they still determined that because I provided the insurance information, a claim was filed. This outstanding was mine. I didn't even remembered the group name. I did not recipe any bill from the company until the collection letter.

      They may be a real company, but their billing ***** and customer service practices are intentionally misleading. They do not bill insurance (intentionally) the first time they send a bill, but are quick to settle for a lesser amount, if you pay them immediately, rather than push them to your insurance info. The customer service line is a joke, you'll have just as much luck looking up their corporate info on LinkedIn and hassling somebody there.

      Hi, I have been calling them for months to re-issue a check that was misplaced in mail and I never got it. No response yet. Everytime I talk to someone, they say they will review and get back to me but never happens. They need to learn to value people's time and do their job more efficiently.

      Sent me a bill after labor and delivery with doctors names that I never saw. I had to get a detailed bill from Novant to "prove" that I did not see those doctors. I did this and my medical records, low and behold, did not have their names on it. This "medical group" seems to big one giant scam.

      I have a med. procedure done at ********. Hospital, *******, **. And, all three of my insurance companies info was given to all doctors, the hospital and my surgeon. Yet, this company continually will not file with my 2d and 3d insurance companies, claiming the bill is outstanding! As they bill me, I respond with the info on the bill and have even called them numerous times, but yet they just keep billing me or calling me. I have even spoken to a supervisor who claimed they would take care of this once I gave them my insurance companies again. This is harassment when they are not doing their job and/or the personnel in the medical facilities for documenting my insurance companies. Why hasn't the state **** of insurance done something about this company. The only problem I am is with this company and their billing is out of PO Box ******, ************, ** 49528-0103. Yet, the pmts are mailed to a Chicao, ** address. My next step is to file a complaint with the ******** and North Carolina ************************* and file for harassment and damage.*****, *****, ** My ID Number for this acct is ********

      AMERICAN ANESTHESIOLOGY OF NORTH CAROLINA, received an inquiry regarding a patient that we provided anesthesia services to on November 24,2021 at *******. Our office conducted a full review of the billing for the services for this patient and below is a summary of our findings.

      The claim was billed to the insurances that was provided to **.

      All insurances are processed and per insurance EOB  the balance billed to the patient is the patient deductible.
