my fianc and I purchased a Mighty Mule gate opener and have since had problems with the solar unit, batteries, also just purchased a brand-new mother board and installed it and continued to put money into it left and right to where it has just become a complete drain on us moneywise and we have never complained or asked for anything free or any compensation in return from the company.even the so-called tech support I have called in for from time to time has been very substandard and rarely was able to obtain the proper help that I needed. My issue at the current time and what my complaint is based on is the fact that recently a guest backed into our gate and damaged the actuater arm on the gate. The arm, (model # ***), is less than 3 years old, however when I have called and spoken with Mighty Mule... (over 5 different calls with different associates, some management and other associates), I have received no help whatsoever in obtaining a new arm or any other compatable part or answers that could give me any assistance at all in doing anything other than buying an entire new system after only 2 1/2 years of use.I have searched high and low on marketplace, amazon, e-bay and many other optional sites where I may have been able to find a solution on my own and yet I have come to no solution. After several attempts to try and get help through Mighty Mule, Tractor supply, Amazon, etc. I have decided that this is really unfair and very wrong to sell me a product that after a such short time that I cannot even go out and get a replacement to repair my very expensive purchase from such a short time ago and be stuck with an obsolete and non-working product. At this point as much time and aggravation that has been put into trying to reach a simple solution and all of the rude and unpleasant conversations and hangups and stress I have put up with . I would really like to just have them compensate me for the new arm actuator that I need to repair my gate. Thank you

To Whom It May ****************************** this issue is not due to a manufacturers defect and does not fall under a warranty issue as the damage was caused by a vehicle running into the gate arm, and not a manufacturing defect.  This model is obsoleted and there are no replacement arms available, we can sell a replacement unit (MM272).

      Regards,

We purchased a Mighty Mule gate opener from Tractor Supply April of 2022. We installed it per instructions. It lasted about 6 months and began having problems (wouldn't close properly, gate arms would fail to actuate). We contacted Mighty Mule, and over the phone did literally hours of troubleshooting standing at the gate with tools. Finally, they instructed us to pull out the control board and send it to them, stating they would provide a replacement within 30 days. After 3 months of waiting they finally sent us a replacement board. The replacement board did not fix the problem and the gate opener will not work properly. We requested they send out a technician and they refused. We asked to return the equipment for a full refund and they refused, stating we must go through Tractor Supply, whom we purchased the gate opener from. Mighty Mule is garbage.

Our solar gate opener started giving us issues on 4/13/2023 with a lot of constant beets and unable to set limits on closing and opening. Call customer service on 4.18.23 and they suggested that we reset the session by pressing all 3 buttons and then turning off and then off the system and retry again. This did not work so my husband took half a day on the 20th troubleshooting the issue on the mother board with an ohm meter. After the call they detected that the control arm may be issue and not the loop of the mother board. We sent pictures of the control arm as welll as the control panel and the receipt as well as the serial numbers of the units. When we call back they said tht the engineers stated that the arms need to 15 degrees of the angle of which the arm is connected to, which is it is. We have had mighty mule for at least 10 years and had to replace it 3 times and with only 1 issue with the control board and nothing else. We sent pictures of the placement of the arms and control panel and the engineers determined that the angel is not sufficient. Well this is a picuture without actual visualy and metiulous measurements based off the picture to come to a 5 minute determination that we don't qualify for a replacement.
