Took in my 2021 Acura TLX Type S in on 3 August for oil change service, reprogramming of new key remote, recall campaign, and replacement of my left rear tire which suffered unrepairable damage on the way to the dealership on Monday, 1 August. Once all the work was done I Inspected the vehicle because they rotated the tires. I failed to instruct the service advisor, ********************* not to rotate the tires in order to minimize damage to the wheels which is a common occurrence at dealerships. I also failed to inspect the underbody of the vehicle before leaving the dealership due to being focused on damage to the wheels. I returned home with ZERO incident of any sort to rearrange and retourqe my lug nuts and wheel locks. As I was positioning my floor **** to lift the right front side of the vehicle, I saw that the right side underbody spoiler was severely crushed behind the right front lift point. I contacted ********************* to explain and was transferred to *****************. I was asked by ***************** how do they not know it was something that I did on the way back from the dealership. When the tire damage occurred on Monday, l immediately inspected the ENTIRE underside of the vehicle front to back and there was ZERO damage from the tire incident. They falsely claim that something other than their rack caused the damage during my return trip and will not replace the parts that their technicians clearly damaged at some point and chose to not let me know. I did not purposely damage my $60K vehicle expecting the dealership to have to fix it for free. However I do expect that if my vehicle does gets damaged for whatever unfortunate reason that the responsible parties involved at least have the integrity to inform me so that I can get afforded a solution. Now I have to spend upwards of $700 to replace parts that I did not damage in the first place. I will no longer do business with ANY of Proctor's dealerships and I will be seeking legal assistance for a resolution to this.
