Imagine this scenarioYoure working from home and the door bell rings. Its the carpet installers youve been waiting on and youre excited for the work to start. They start the job and suddenly you hear something fall to the ground. You go to check whats wrong and if everyones okay. You see that the clock in the guest bedroom has fallen to the ground and you inquire about the situation. *****, one of the installers tells you I bumped into it and it fell. It wasnt screwed on properly. NOT Sorry, I bumped into it accidentally, NOT Sorry I broke your clock. NOT EVEN a short version of My bad. Due to the lack of a single admission of guilt, youre annoyed and say well, is it MY fault? ***** then proceeds to YELL at you in your own home, spewing things like just tell me how much it is, Ill pay for it. You dont reply because he was already so angry and you dont want to escalate the situation. Its not about the money, youre just looking for an apology. And at this point, ***** is making you feel unsafe in your own home. The morning continues with more outbursts from him, such as let us work and do our job, I dont have to explain anything to you, you dont need to know anything every time you come around to simply check on the job that is being done in YOUR OWN house! To add insult to injury, upon retelling this story to **** (in the office) and **** (the manager); they make unfathomable excuses for Cesars behavior like maybe he is having a bad day. **** even suggests that you let them continue the job. Its not until your male coworker finally intervenes by calling the company that they agree to get ***** and his crew out of your house, and send you new installers. No carpet installer should be yelling at you IN YOUR OWN HOME; that is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous behavior!But such was my install day, I felt very unsafe IN MY OWN HOME. I write all this to say that this company has given me an abysmal customer service experience.
