      I am writing to file a complaint against Oktiv Apartments regarding the unsatisfactory experience my son, *******, has endured as a tenant. The details of the situation are as follows: Unauthorized Occupancy: Despite the lease agreement stipulating specific terms, my son's roommate's girlfriend, *****'s girlfriend, has been residing in the apartment without contributing to the rent. This unauthorized occupancy has resulted in my son receiving only 33% of the common areas instead of the agreed-upon 50%. Lack of Response: Despite multiple attempts to address the issue with the property manager, there has been a lack of response and action taken to rectify the situation. Numerous emails have been sent, expressing our concerns and seeking resolution, but they have gone unanswered. Unfair Treatment: The proposed resolution provided by Oktiv Apartments places the burden on my son to find someone to take over his unit, while he continues to endure the consequences of his roommate's actions. This is unjust and unacceptable. Breach of Contract: The ongoing breach of contract by certain roommates, including *****'s girlfriend's unauthorized occupancy, has created an inequitable living situation for my son. We believe that allowing ******* to exit the lease agreement without any repercussions is the most equitable resolution to this matter. Resolution Sought: We are seeking the following resolution from Oktiv Apartments: Immediate termination of *******'s lease agreement without any financial or contractual penalties. We trust that the Better Business Bureau will investigate this matter thoroughly and facilitate a fair resolution. Thank you for your attention to this complaint.

      I have attached a copy of the varied complaints: have additional pics prior to initial move in living quarters is uninhabitable roommate has mental issues roommate does not clean after himself horrific odor transmitting from roommate into hallway and throughout apartment roommate does not take out garbage roommate does not clean leaves crumbs throughout the kitchen stove and countertops and microwave roommate has television volume loud daily in living room and bedroom all times of the day walks by me and rubs up against does not say excuse me as if he wants to initiate a confrontation complex initial said they would move me to a different unit but two days prior to move date said they made a mistake and there are no other units available does not return phone calls or emails manager (******) or senior manager (****** *******
