I am the Guarantor to my son ******** ****** lease at the locale for studet living. ******** provided the facility with Military orders to release him from his lease obligations due to service in the military, I resubmitted them to the property manager ******* ****** and we spoke. He has continued to refuse to speak to me inregards to dismissal of the initial contract agreement. He continues to contact my son ******** ****** charging him for the lease agreement full amount which does not expire until july 2023. ******** ****** is currently in basic training and turned in the apartment on May 31, he moved out with pictures and full acknowledgement of clearing him from any damage liability from the front office staff. Since then He continues to be billed for the full lease amount which would of ended on July 2023. I have spoken to ******* ******, and called him several times at this facility in which he has not recognized the providing of military orders according to 50 USC Ch. 50: SERVICEMEMBERS CIVIL RELIEF III—RENT, INSTALLMENT CONTRACTS, MORTGAGES, LIENS, ASSIGNMENT, LEASES, COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE CONTRACTS 3951.Evictions and distress. 3952.Protection under installment contracts for purchase or lease. ******** ****** should of been immediately released from any further obligations to this lease agreement. Attached you will see a sequence of correspondence in which the locale establishment continues to bill ******** and refuse to recognize that according to law, his lease agreement should of ceased. ******* ****** refuses to tend to my calls, or settle this issue, ******** tried contacting him several times prior to departure and his calls were never returned, but send to answering service. Please resolve this accordingly to Service Member Relief Act that releases ******** from lease commitment due to military service. Stop collection harrassment letters received by myself the guarantor and ******** the lessee.
