I took my dog to Royal Pets Market and Resort for grooming. Upon picking up my pet that evening and getting home, I noted he was whining and rubbing his eye. When I looked at his eye I could see it was irritated. Next morning it was swollen, red and he was crying in pain. I then took him to Emergency vet where they diagnosed him with corneal ***** which occurred during grooming due to chemicals used. He was put on several medications but was told he would need to go to an optometry vet for followup as this could be permanent and he could loose eye site if not healing correctly. I called Royal Pets and had Emergency vet send records to store. They assured me that they would reimburse me for emergency visit as well as any optometry vet visits and to date with re-occuring follow-up calls to Royal Pets I have yet to receive payment. The manager continues to tell me that corporate office is handling check. This however is accruing interest on my credit card and would like this issue resolved sooner than later since it has been greater than a month that I have been getting the run around and as interests continues to rise.
