    Yesterday I took my 3 month old kitten in for a basic declaw procedure and the vet mixed up the anesthesia dose and gave her too much so her heart stopped/ burst during surgery and they couldn't revive her. This was due to carelessness of the doctor and sloppy work, they did not double check anything or bother to follow basic medical procedure of the surgery. I have requested medical records of the surgery and they said it would take a couple days for the doctor to complete them, I believe that they are going to falsify the documents to make it look like they didn't do anything wrong on paper. I don't know why it wasn't done same day or even right after. I immediately went in to get my kitten and see what happened and they wanted to argue with me that I needed to pay for her to be cremated. I told them I was not paying to have my cat cremated that they killed. They brought in the manager who was absolutely rude to me when I said that the doctor should not be doing surgery if she is incapable A) because she is old and B) because apparently she wasn't use to doing a front and back declaw, only has ever done front. She should have been transparent from the beginning if she was uncomfortable doing the surgery. He told me if I was going to protest outside or tell people not to go there he would call the cops on me, and I hadn't even done any of those things yet I was still standing there crying over my dead cat. The whole staff was rude and unprofessional from the second it became about money. That place and everyone in it doesn't care about the pets that go there. It isn't fair my baby only got to live for 3 months before a doctor who was negligent and incapable of doing a specific surgery took her life from her. I want that rude manager to be fired and that doctor to lose her license. that facility should not be able to preform any type of surgery if they can't even properly administrate the correct dose of anesthesia. I want this place shut down.

    This vet OVER VACCINATED my dog and caused him to have some severe side effects!!! Details are as follows...I had not taken my dog over there in 2023 bc he wasn't due to get anything significant. In June, we had his blood work, physical, and heartworm test, and they gave him a DISTEMPER shot (keep this vaccination in mind). The second time, July 31st, we were leaving him pet boarding there for 6days; they told him they needed to give him some other vaccinations, which my husband said ok to. Pick-up time, he looked awful! lethargic and stiff. He was purely miserable. This was end of July. Fast forward to Aug 15th, I get a text message that my dog is due for Annual *****, Annual Deworming, and Distemper (AGAIN!) turns out they have given my dog the DISTEMPER shot twice! Once in June and again before boarding in July. If you do some research, For adults over 16 weeks, 1 vaccination and another every 3yrs or MORE. So now, my dog had been OVER vaccinated, which is precisely why he was so lethargic when we came to pick him up. The veterinary doctor called, and she couldn't explain it either. She 1st said that it was because when he was a puppy, all the doses were not given to him (we never had him as a puppy because we rescued him at almost 2yo). She said that the text was incorrect and that it was a glitch in the system, and that he did not have to do this again until next year. SO WHY DID YOU NOT KNOW THAT WHEN YOU SIGNED OFF ON HIM GETTING IT AGAIN IN JULY WHEN THEY HAD ALREADY GIVEN IT TO HIM IN JUNE!? Thank God it had only been one additional dose; how ********* get over-vaccinated, and then they pass away, and they wash their hands because of it??? She then proceeded to tell me that she had no explanation and that if I wanted, vaccine refunded and later also the refund of the boarding as well!!!! As fur baby parents, we TRUST these vets to do what is best for our pets, I will now look at everything and verify all these guys want to give and do to my babies.
