I paid Azula north ******* to move into an apartment that was inhabitable. My original move in date was may 15th but didnt allow me to because there was a major leak in the apartment. I then attempted to move in on May 17th but the unit was very dirty with mold and paint everywhere the roof was mush water stains everywhere. I emailed immediately upon discovery on the 17th and returned the keys and have constantly emailed to terminate the lease and get my money back and they will not respond. I have gone to multiple different resources and they are not responding. I sent pictures of the issues and have tried multiple times. To avoid homelessness I had to hurry up and move to another city.Business response

A month ago I have complained about a termite infestation. As well as many other maintenance issues that I can ignore but when my wall is infested with termites this is when I had to draw the line. This is a health risk for me. After complaining about this issue, there was no resolution other than treating one spot. I was told that this will occasionally fix an infested issue. After that being done the termites have still been growing on the wall. My apartment stinks like mildew and mold.Business response

Hi, I have been in contact with this resident and all maintenance issues have been addressed. Additionally, her termite issue was addressed with out vendor, please see attached invoice. There are no pending issues in this apartment or with this resident.Initial Complaint

I have been struggling with a faulty toilet for months now. Almost daily the toilet is clogged to the point where it is unusable. When I attempt to plunge the blockage, sewage is coming back up through the pipes. I can tell by the smell. Maintenance has actually shown up I think twice to address the issue. Within 5 minute the toilet is snaked and they leave without further researching the issue. As I have complained multiple times of the situation, I expected a more in depth solution. Right now, I have a toilet full of sewage and unable to use my restroom. Unfortunately, this lack of urgency and follow through are a common theme with this administration establishment.Initial Complaint

On May 31st I moved into the azula North apartments cuz I'm moving into the apartment ***************** hand me the keys to move it her and I walked up to the apartment and unit 838 and we discovered the apartment was filthy dirty wasn't clean at all she advised me that she was going to have someone come to the apartment and clean fortunately no one never came so as months went in June towards the middle of June I get a notice on my door stating my rent is late in an eviction notice I just moved in May 31st I already paid for the month of June why are they sending me an eviction notice on my door meanwhile nothing in the apartments is fixed cleaned or whatever they haven't even offered me to move into another apartment until this apartment was ready I already gave them $250 to hold the apartment I gave them $1,059 for security for the apartment they haven't done not one thing to fix in my apartment and I have given him ample time on top of that for the month of July my rent is free I have a note from them stating the rent for July is free they still put an eviction notice on my door it's been one problem after another all I want is my money back I already terminated my lease according to ******* statutes laws I have the right to do that since the landlord never kept up their end of the deal to fix things into the apartment in a timely manner so I will like my refund back I hope you can help meBusiness response
