      This email is in reference to a collections filed by one of your properties located in *************: River Pointe Apartments. My name is ************************** and I resided in the apartments from March 2020 to October 2022. During my residency in the River Pointe Apartments I was only late on my rent once and that incident was due to unforeseen circumstances. After fulfilling my leased rental agreement I exited River Pointe Apartments with no outstanding debts or balances owed. Upon applying for housing in another county it was brought to my attention that there was a collections notice from River Pointe Apartments in the amount of $5545!! This is erroneous and grossly inaccurate!! My lease at the time $1480. So mathematically that is approximately 3 and a half months behind!! There is no eviction notice or proceeding in my history the duration of my lease agreement. There seems to be a miscalculation or negligence in part pertaining to this matter. Please contact me via the provided email so that we may reach a satisfactory conclusion. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated in this matter.

      This would be my second complaint now in less than a year or maybe more. These apartment complex are spending money renovating the looks outside while we are suffering inside. Any apartment can be searched and there are roaches, like an infestation in all buildings, there's so much mold that they just come spray what's showing and scrape what's bulking out. we just recently had an issue with our ** again which the heater doesn't work so imagine our Winter; anyways the ** leaked so bad into the walls we had bubbles on the walls and mold growing everywhere . they came they made a hole the man that made the hole said the entire building should be shut down with how much mold there was behind my walls and he apologized because he was hired to come repair the wall not remove the mold. we are tired of the front office threatening us when we walk by or walk in because of so many issues and their excuse is the pipes are old. I cant take a hot shower because my pipes in the wall bang so loud and again it means that the pipes are old is what they say. they turn off the water so much we go hours without water. something has to be done this time . we as a community are fed up .

      For 5 months now we have been reporting a bad leak in our AC unit . It got so bad the water started to come down behind the paint in the bathroom. My complex has refused to fix anything . They put a window AC that is now also leaking all over my apartment . I have mold behind my paint in the bathroom. We also have a bad roach problem in these apartments and they won't call to get anybody's apartment sprayed. We are tired of going to office . At this point management is there to collect a paycheck . We complain EVERYDAY . It's hot in our apartment . Walking in from 97 degree weather to 85 degrees in my house is not okay . I don't live in a tropical island . We want these people to start caring about their residents . Our main breaker in the back of the building is constantly dropping and they tell us to go risk ourselves and touch a shorted fuse just get our power back . That's an electricians job . It can be raining our power goes out and we have to go outside . We have food and children who have not gotten over their sicknesses due to the moldy pain in the bathroom. Which can be proven by doctors . Pictures provided are from march 7,th 2022 when the paint got damaged all the way to todays currents status . As you can see it's bad !

      Business Response /* (1000, 19, 2022/07/05) */ The requested repairs for Ms. Rodriguez-Colon have been completed. The drywall repair from the leak has been done and the A/C unit has been fixed. The portable unit was left in place for a few days after the repairs to ensure the unit was not left without some measures of cooling. Maintenance has been in/out of the unit to check that the A/C was cooling properly without leaks before the portable was removed and the work order closed. Pest control comes to the property every week on Friday and Ms. Rodriguez-Colon can put in a request to have her unit treated. To my knoowledge we have not and would never ask a resident to touch an outside breaker panel. We do however ask a resident to check the breaker panel inside their unit if a breaker has tripped.
