      Battery Condition Misrepresentation: The customer claims that ******************** stated there was nothing wrong with the batteries. This is not accurate. Our standard warranty allows customers to have their batteries repaired or replaced at any time, provided the batteries are returned to us for proper diagnosis. Unfortunately, the customer refused to send the batteries back for evaluation, which prevented us from determining any potential issues.
      Upgrade Offer Misunderstanding: The customer alleges that we asked for $2,200 to replace their batteries. This is misleading. The quoted amount was for an optional upgrade from 10Ah batteries to 200Ah batteries. At no point did we insist on this charge for a replacement of the existing batteries under warranty.
      Battery Capacity Choice: The customer claims that we should have sold them 200Ah batteries instead of 100Ah batteries. This is false. The customer chose the ***** batteries to save costs, and we made a recommendation to upgrade to 200Ah batteries to achieve better performance. The final purchasing decision was entirely theirs.
      We stand by our commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction. We are still willing to work with the customer to resolve any legitimate issues they may have. However, it is important that the facts of the situation are accurately represented.

      I am rejecting this response because: Im not the battery expert, I bought the battery kit that Charge X told me I needed. Money was not an issue at the time.  When I first started having problems with the batteries I called to get information, I did a series of test that I was told to do and was told there was nothing wrong with the batteries.  I was told I could ship them back but that if the test that I performed did not show anything wrong, that I would be wasting my time and money to ship them back because there probably nothing wrong with them. So I opted not to ship!  As time went on the batteries progressively are getting worse.  I asked what my options were and was told that I should have bought 200 ah batteries not the 100 ah because my cart was older and a 36V. My response was why cant you send me 3 12V 200ah batteries and I will send back the ones I have. Charge X response was it dont work that way! Then I was given an option to buy 3 batteries at a discount rate that was not acceptable to me. The other option was to upgrade to a 36v 200ah battery for $2200.00. Unacceptable I paid $2999.00 for the original battery kit with a lifetime warranty free replacement for 5 years and pro rated after that.  This is what I know when I bought the batteries I was able to get 3-18 hole rounds of golf out of a single charge and now approximately 2 1/2 years later I cant get 18 holes of golf out of a charge! All I want is for Charge X to compensate me for spending close to $3000.00 for batteries that didnt last as long as a lead acid battery. I guess Lifetime warranty doesnt mean lifetime !

      I am rejecting this response because: There needs to be further clarification. I am a retired 71 year old, and disabled, I served in the US MARINE CORP and 30 yrs for the ***** of Defense. I have a 2005 EZGO TXT and live in a 55 and older golf resort in **.  I use my golf cart several times daily. Which brings us here I was looking for long lasting easy maintenance batteries. I stumbled across ChargeX surfing the web did some research and decided to call.  I spoke with a gentleman gave him the information on my cart and told him what I was looking to accomplish he wrote up an Invoice # ****  and sent it to me and I sent them the money and here we are.

      When I started having problems with the batteries I called ChargeX and was able to speak with ******.  We spoke on several occasions and he walked me through several troubleshooting tests.  All the tests showed the batteries were OK which didnt make sense to me so I asked ****** how can that be something got to be wrong, he said you should have bought the 200ah batteries and I go what are 200ah batteries first Ive heard of them. He said the older 36V motors arent as efficient as the newer motors and would be better. Im thinking why am I just hearing about this? So ****** says you can send them in and we can check them out but I doubt will find anything wrong. Hes the battery expert so I opted to not send them in and decided to check and see if something might be drawing the batteries down on the cart.  I had my ***** come by and we disconnected lights, horn, and did test and didnt find anything.  So that  leads me back to batteries.

      So now you offer to allow me to send my batteries back free of charge and if you dont find anything wrong at a more substantial discount than initially proposed. Heres my problem my golf cart is my life line to my community once I remove those batteries the cart is useless.  This would be a tremendous inconvenience for me and my wife. Ive read people have waited months for repairs I cannot and will not be without my cart because ChargeX will not own up to making a mistake and solviving the problem!

      So I ask one more time please send me 3 new batteries!

      Our previous offer of 3 - 36V 67Ah batteries for $2,000.00 was already extended as a significant exception and far exceeds our standard warranty provisions. While we understand your need for a new charger and other accessories, these items are not covered under our warranty policy and cannot be included at no additional cost.
      If you are still interested in proceeding with the original offer, we would be happy to arrange that for you. However, we cannot accommodate further requests for free items beyond what was already proposed.

      At this time Im not convinced upgrading is the best solution for me at this time!  Ive been able to do a lot of research into lithium replacement and have found that lithium wired in series is not the best option for older golf carts! Research showed lithium batteries degraded quicker wired in series rather than parallel! So to me it still  appears I was sold the wrong setup for my golf cart.  Therefore I would like to take the offer of returning the 3 batteries at no cost to me with expedited service and go from there!

Our lithium batteries have been reliably powering golf carts of all types and ages, and we stand by the performance of our products, whether they are wired in series or parallel.
      Regarding your request to return the three batteries for inspection, please note that ChargeX does not cover shipping charges after the first 30 days of purchase. As such, you would be responsible for the *** freight charges associated with returning the batteries. Additionally, due to the nature of shipping lithium batteries, specialized hazmat boxes are required. We can arrange to send these to you, but the cost for these boxes will also be your responsibility.
      If you wish to proceed with the return and inspection, we will assist with the logistics, but please be aware of these associated costs.

      I purchased a 100AH Lithium Ion Phosphate Battery for my fishing boat on April 28, 2021. The company has a lifetime warranty with full replacement in the first 5 years. After 1 year the battery does not work (does not charge or hold a charge) I called their support line several times and had my wife drive the battery to their location in ******* (it did not exist). We finally got someone to answer at their phone number and told us that location is not open yet, but it was on their website. I attempted their reset procedures several times, unsuccessful. I then sent in another claim via warranty claims on their website on 5/22/2023. No Response. Again attempted on 6/15/2023. No response. I also attempted multiple times to reach by phone. No one could help me. I sent another request on 1/14/2024 and finally heard back on 2/14/2024 via email. They wanted me to try and reset the battery again. Failed. They then offered to replace the battery for $400.00. Not a free replacement as their warranty states. I agreed. Paid them on 3/7/2024 and as of today no Battery 4/1/2024.I want them to refund my initial cost of the battery of $999.00 and the $400.00 for the replacement. Total Refund: $1399.00 I have disputed the $400 with Paypal. They sent me an email and said that they would send me a battery if I wired them $400 since I disputed with Paypal. They are playing games.

      I am rejecting this response because: The lifetime warranty clearly states they will repair or replace.  "Warranty Procedure: In the unlikely event your battery cannot be woken up, shipping can be arranged to our headquarters once an RMA number has been created. If the battery is repairable, it will be repaired at no cost and returned to you. If it is not repairable and the issue was caused by a manufacturer defect, we will replace the battery at no cost within the first 5 years. After 5 years, we will repair your battery at no cost to you if the battery is repairable. In the unlikely event it is not repairable, we will pro rate the cost of a new replacement battery for you at 50% off the cost of a new one. Warranties are non-transferrable and stay with the original purchaser of our products. In some cases, your warranty claim *** require special order parts and it can take > 3mo. for us to get the necessary parts and components. In some cases, we *** require your battery to be shipped back to the factory to be assessed and or repaired. In this case, it can take > 6 mo. to get the battery returned once the repairs have been made. CHARGEX is an approved hazmat shipper which is required to ship lithium ion batteries. All of our products are delivered in packaging that meets or exceeds federal and international standards for shipping lithium ion batteries."

      They want me to pay $400.00 to replace the battery that has a lifetime warranty.  It has taken me over a year to get a response from them.  When I finally got a response from them, they did not offer to look at the battery (ship it back) but instead just replace it for a $400 fee.  I actually agreed just to get this behind me, and then they did not honor that and never shipped me the battery.  I had no choice but to dispute.  I have been more than fair and I am no longer willing to pay for their lack of customer service. Their customer service has not been as promised on their warranty website.  They should have the battery tested (it will fail) and then send me a replacement for free. As their warranty requires.  Solution: They either need to send me a free replacement or refund the full original purchase amount of $999.00.  It is their warranty policy, they should honor it.

      Had to return this Charge X battery 12v. 100aph for warranty on June 1 . Charge X received the battery on June 5 of *********************************************** phone call at this time. They say it takes up to 3 to 6 months to do the warranty its seven months at this time. *** from Charge X email is no longer available ********************** doesnt return phone calls either. This is criminal on what Charge X is doing to their customers fraudulently selling them a battery and not for filling the warranties on the batteries something needs to be done. The attorney general of ******* needs to investigate this company on wrong doing ripping the public off.

      There has never been any response to my phone calls to Chargex LLC. The business is nothing but a scam to fleece people out of their money. I have instituted legal action against company as they are in violation of several Ohio consumer laws but so far, they are avoiding my attorney and his process server.

      Transaction date 12/9/2021 Amount of purchase is $1,565.20 My company ordered two chargers from Chargex in December of 2021. We were promised originally to receive these items in March of 2022. That promised delivery passed. When I questioned Chargex at that time I was told they had received the chargers but were waiting for a third party to complete an installation for connectors necessary to allow these chargers to work with out equipment.This blame of the third party continued through the summer without resolution. Now after numerous phone calls, emails and text messages looking for an answer (almost all were ignored by Chargex). It is approaching one year since these chargers were orders.We are unable to reach anyone at Chargex. we still need these chargers, but cannot get any response from Chargex.
