The job they did ruined a closet door, scratched paint off some of my walls and was incomplete. Jim said he needed to order more carpet (i have texts between us) and I have been patiently waiting for more than a month and a half for this to be completed. He keeps saying the people he has doesn't speak english so it's hard to get ahold of them. I asked for a partial refund and he hasn't answered me back.

      Business response

      11/09/2021

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/09) */ I spoke with Mr. ******** on Friday morning October 8th which is the first time I had heard of this complaint. He has been in communication with his salesperson in the office and the installer. It is scheduled to be replaced today October 9th. Not sure how it got to this point but I assure you we will replace the closet that is effected and do our best with the closet door that is part of the problem as well. English is the second language for many carpet installers in the area and really shouldn't be a problem in most cases. They work very hard and usually very good at their job. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/10/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I am not home for the week I will check out the repairs. I do not see anything mentioned regarding the walls where the installer gouged it and scraped the paint off. Was that addressed Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/10/19) */ The other closest still has wood below the carpet where the carpet is coming up. Also, the damage to the walls was never addressed. Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2021/10/20) */ Bifold closet doors are not our responsibility as a flooring company. We can only use the products given to us and paint on doors and closets if often inferior. It is not an uncommon problem when changing carpet but you cannot expect perfection when it comes to installing doors. Our invoices clearly say this as does almost any other flooring company. We generally do our best but sometimes it is not enough. I have heard nothing directly form the customer after our original repair and communication the moment I heard of the issues.. Any further issues should have come up at that point with a repair man on site.
