      I took my printer to this business to have it repaired on October 1, 2021. I was told by the cashier that it needed a new printer head and it would take at least 6 months to get the needed parts. He described that the reason for such a lengthy time was because the parts came from China and with the shortages due to covid and the United States political issues it would be a while before the printer could be fixed. I said that was fine as the printer was only used about 13 times and I just wanted to see it function as it was designed to. That I could wait, I just wanted it working. The cashier said they would need more black ink for it so I drove a few miles down the street and bought some and returned to the computer store with it. I waited patiently for 6 months plus a couple of weeks (time enough for them to install the parts) and called. The owner Jacob L. said he had the printer "recycled". He also stated that they call the owner twice before doing so. I received zero calls from anyone related to this business regarding my printer. I asked what we were going to do about it and he offered nothing in return for my property that he took and destroyed. I want my printer back or an identical working printer and the black ink that I bought and brought to them.

We have no record of the client giving approval for the part. The tech has no recollection of telling anyone a part would take 6 months. We also do not purchase directly from China. We also called the client 2x before recycling and did not hear back from the client until 7months later. A used working printer for this model is $200. the Cost of this part plus the labor exceeds the value of the printer. Considering the cost to value I do not think the tech would advised getting this repaired. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I was not called. That is an outright lie. That agreement was in consideration to having it diagnosed which was done. I was told that your establishment would order a print head to repair my printer and that it would take at least 6 months to do so. How would I know what was wrong with it if I had not had a discussion about getting it fixed with someone on your staff? I agreed to wait as I wanted it fixed. I was never told the part exceeded the cost of the printer, but that would not have mattered as I wanted my printer fixed and was willing to wait for this business to get the parts and fix it. I want my printer back immediately. I will find someone else to fix it. Not returning the printer is stealing. I think its possible he said 6 weeks because that is the time to get parts from china. But their is no approval to order listed anywhere and customer was called 2x before recycling the printer. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/05/12) */ I am waiting for a resolution. No one writes and prints a discussion as they are having it with a sales representative at any computer repair shops. You provide PROOF that you called me 2x. That won't be possible because you never called. I want my printer returned. Your lying does not resolve this issue.
