      We hired this company to repair our screen enclosure after hurricane damage. The repair was to include fixing a leak we had on a free standing wall for our outdoor kichen. I told them I wanted the top of the wall flashed to stop the leak. They never would put flashing on the wall they only wanted to try fixing it with caulking (which I told them would not work. The person I was talking to seemed to understand and agree with what needed to be done. However when the workers would show up they did not speak english and only wanted to caulk. There invoice to me guaranteed the wall to not leak for one year. The wall never stopped leaking. I have called and sent text the contact I was dealing with numerous time and he will not answer the phone or return my text. I have calle the number on the invoice several times, the take my name and number but still no one calls.

      I paid a deposit of ******** to this company and do not get answers to my phone calls or emails that I have made.I have asked for a full refund, as of yet nothing.My advise is to not do business with this company unless they honor themselves and refund the entire deposit of ********. I think they are a scammer beware.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,

       

      I trust this email finds you well.

      We are writing to provide clarification regarding the case involving ********************* and Dreamliner Screens.

      ********************* engaged Dreamliner for a project and adhered to the contract rules by paying 10% of the contract amount, as stipulated in the contract clauses. According to our contract, this 10% is non-refundable and is intended to cover the initial costs associated with the engineering and permit phase of a Dreamliner project.

      The engineering and permits were successfully approved, and in accordance with the contract, we invoiced for the subsequent phase related to material purchases to commence construction.

      However, upon sending the invoice for the next phase, ********************* communicated that he would not make any payments until the conclusion of the entire project. This deviates from the agreed-upon contract clauses established at the project's outset.

      Subsequently, he requested the project's cancellation and initiated complaints against Dreamliner, including filing a report with the BBB, as you already know.

      Dreamliner has formally requested the permit cancellation, and we stand firm on not refunding the 10%, citing it as payment for work already performed.

      We possess a signed agreement-upon terms, demonstrating ***'s awareness of the terms and conditions. Additionally, we have attached conversations via messages and messengers that further illustrate his stance on the matter (see attached documents).

      Dreamliner is committed to operating as a reputable and trustworthy company, dedicated to delivering excellent and quality work while upholding the integrity of our contract terms. An example of the contract is also enclosed for your reference.

      I am rejecting this response because: I never seen nor signed a contract, they sent me by email a contract after I mentioned I wanted to cancel due to no contact whatsoever.  Again, I never signed a contract so would like a full refund from this company.

      The pool cage is not finished. The entire back side of the cage is missing an aluminum rail. Two bolts connecting the bottom rail to the pool deck were broken during assembly and have not been fixed. A final inspection by the County has not been scheduled or completed. Charlotte county permit # *********** expires 09/30/2023

      Contacted the vendor via email on 12/11/23 concerning installation defect (pictures attached). note: no significant weather of any kind has occurred to cause this damage. A phone call back was received within a few hours to discuss repair timeframe. Additional emails were sent on 12/14/23, 1/9/24 and a text message was sent on 1/20/24. No further contact from the vendor has taken place, no repairs have been made.
