      on 6/10/24 I sent the *** technical center in ***** ** the town and country branch ****** for the 2 week phlebotomy course...the course consisted of 2 weeks online self taught training and 1 day of in person clinicals...I had a 2 week deadline so I got right to work, so I thought...the program glitch on 6/10/24 6/11/24 and came on 6/12/24 at 6pm...that's already 2 1/2 days missed on my 2 week deadline...within those 2 days I called the school to no avail...*********** the front desk clerk kept telling me to be patient with the process that its going to work and that I was NOT the only student that was having program difficulties...on 6/23/24 the program had another episode...on 6/24/24 as soon as the school was open for business I called and once again ************ said be patient that she'll deliver the message of the program not working again to ****** the instructor and that's when I stated that its apparent that you CAN NOT help me and to transfer me to the appropriate person that can...she state that NO ONE can help me that once again she will let ****** know my concerns and this is when I told ************ that I'd like a refund...she hung the phone in my face once again and at 3 o'clock ****** called me trying to soothe the issue by extending the course an additional week due to the nature of the glitching...I excepted the offer...on 6/25/24 the program glitch again for the 5th time and on 6/26/24 I made an appearance at the school. The school was closed and so I decided to call and ************ answered and that's when I notified her that I want a refund. she hung up in my face and 2 minutes later ****** called me. I stated that I would like my money back and she stated NO.I feel that I'm deserving of my money back because I DID NOT complete the program and all of the aggravation and stress trying to make a 2 week deadline that was impossible to make due to the program glitching.Theirs 2 other documented students that had the same like problems .look on their website.

      ******************* did call in to make the instructor of aware that she was unable to access her course. ****** returned her call as requested and assisted and acclimated her with accessing the course. The course is a two week course and due to the unforeseen circumstances we extended the course for *** to complete. At this time *** has completed the course in its entirety with no other issues or concerns.

      The *** Tech Center seemed like a very good program at first, the instructor **** is great instructor and the Hispanic woman(I don't know her name) at the front desk tries to show empathy/support. However I am requesting a refund of my paid amount of $580 on 8/5/22 Since the start date of the class I have not been able to get into the online class to do my course. No one has been able to resolve my issue with multiple attempts. After several attempts with ******, I was still unable to log on to start any online work. An example of an attempt to work with ****** was when she replied that she was driving and had to pull over to send me the start up information that was still not able to log on- that I was supposed to receive a day prior.****** also had random IT number call me without letting me know that they would call. I was not comfortable answering a number that I didnt know. It was said that I needed to text the administrator-during texting the administrator, their words were not properly set up and hard to read(lower case letters, demanding of information without a reason). I was told to go in to the first clinical session that Friday by the front desk while the problem would be attempted to get fixed-without having any prior ****** plans to follow from. When I came out of the session, the problem was still not resolved. I told the front desk that I was suggesting a refund since the problem wasn't getting resolved. Two weeks into the course and I still cannot access the course to catch up with any ****** plans etc. I have sent numerous texts, back to backs calls, show *** to the establishment. This experience has caused me anxiety and stress. *** Tech Center claimed that I made an account that they can see in their system but I never made an account or was able to log on to any of the online coursework. The administrator has not responded and *** Technical Center has not contacted me. No book or scrubs or access to course given as the company promised.

      We asked the student to come into the center several times to address the issues of logging in. Student has yet to come in. We even re-enrolled her in another course and asked her to come for assistance with logging into that course and student refuses to come in. We tried trouble shooting the issue over the phone so the student needs to physically come into the center. 

      In the student agreement which was signed by the student, states that the funds are non-refundable. 

      The student is more than welcome to come into our center Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm for assistance logging into the course

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The claims from The *** Technical Center are not true. I came into the establishment multiple times to resolve the issue of logging on, that was never resolved. I also called multiple times and was sent to voicemail 90% of the time. When the establishment did answer, they had no resolutions. I am requiring my refund. The establishment said that I could get my money back multiple times(from front desk and ******) The *** Technical Center has took it upon themselves to attempt to pressure me into starting the course with several emails. This experience is very overwhelming and I do not wish to have instruction from an institution that attempts to defamate my character. I did come in multiple times and I never refused help. The company never knew how to resolve my issue and were unwilling to handle it in a professional manner. I never had a first day of class, I was never able to log on to do any course work, I never received anything that was promised by the company (textbook, scrubs, online access) I am entitled to my full refund and I am requiring it back.

      I paid to go to the school but I never attended. I cancel because of an family emergency. So I call the school and they said I was going to be refunded. No background check or enrollment was ever performed. And I was told I was going to get my money back but never did. I been getting the run around for months. I even ask for a copies of the back ground check. And nothing was ever sent. I want my money back. They won't return my calls etc.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/22) */ You're initial enrollment fees including the background check was paid in November of 2021. We did not receive an request regarding the refund until February of 2022. Further more our Enrollment and Background check fees are non-refundable. We have responded to you several times via email correspondences explaining our refund policy. We have offered to complete the background check, which is valid for 5 years and it was refused. Please refer to the refund policy below. Student Refund Policy Students not accepted to the school are entitled to tuition monies paid. Students who withdraw by notifying the school in writing within five (5) business days before program start date are entitled to a full refund of the tuition. Enrollment and background checks fees are non-refundable. Students who withdraw by notifying the school in writing after five 5 business days, but before the 1st day of class minus enrollment fees paid the maximum cancellation charge of $200.00 or 30% of the contract price, whichever is less. In the case of a student withdrawing by notifying the school in writing after commencement of classes the school will retain the maximum cancellation charge of $200.00 plus a percentage (%) of tuition fees, based on the percentage of contact hours completed, described in the table below. The refund is based on the last date of the recorded attendance by the instructor. Please let us know if you are wantiing to complete the scheduling of your background check. I contact the school by phone several times last year and I can show phone records. I also spoke to you by email and I have proof. I had have proof of you saying you was going to refund me my money. So stop lying because I can provide everything I stand on. I contact you several times and your staff lying saying you was going to contact me back.
