This company perpetuates a complete con job. It's way worse than the dating apps, which is saying something. Even worse than blowing $5,000, I feel that the waste of my time was just as bad. Before you sign ANYTHING, read the fine print. For example, understand that as soon as they present a 'match', if you decline, it still counts towards the number of committed 'matches'. Despite repeated requests and guidance, the 'matches' they presented were not at all suitable. To add insult to injury, I had somebody from IJL Luxe, trying to upsell me to the premium service for the bargain basement price of $15,000 - $20,000 with a guarantee that I would be paired with people who meet my criteria. I canceled my contract and my instructions were never to contact me again. I don't want hear the dissembling or excuses, nor waste a second more thinking about this company or 'service'. Lesson learned. Never again.

I purchased the 12 month, 12 date package for 3,000. The first 2 months, the matchmaker gave me 2 people to go on dates with, I chose dates and times and I told her that I could be flexible on dates and times. She was never able to set up the dates. Then I was trying to email and call her and could never get a response, so I called my credit card company to dispute the payment since they never came up with a date nor did they ever respond to me. I think that this is just a scam. They showed my credit card company the contract I signed for services and I have been recharged. So far there haven't been any services provided. They present to you that you will get 1 date a month when they are selling you the service, but the fine print says otherwise. I guess all I can do is contact a lawyer. Be aware that this company will take your money and not provide dates.

For the past 14 months, I have been repeatedly communicating via email and phone that I prefer to meet someone who is no more than two years older than me. However, the dating consultants I have been working with seem to have a different view, as they keep telling me that women typically date men who are 10 years older. Despite my clear preference, they continue to match me with older men and list my age range as 55-65 on their website. I believe that personal preferences are important in dating, and I don't want to be pressured into meeting someone outside of my comfort zone. It's frustrating that the dating consultants have not been respecting my boundaries, and I am disappointed as you could understand. Since they have been constantly changing consultants, I am worried and have no confidence that anyone would listen to my needs and help me find matches that align with my preferences. In the meantime, I will continue to assert my boundaries and let the dating consultants know that I am not interested in meeting older men. I will also provide them with a more specific age range to avoid any confusion in the future. Ultimately, I want to find someone who is a good match for me, and I won't settle for someone who doesn't fit my criteria. I didn’t have an expectations before paying the service, but hope to find friends throughout the process and learn from others, but the experience here turned my hope into hopeless.
