When is telemarketing company had called my phone initially the gentleman had asked for myself I asked who is this he proceeded to tell me it was fresh start and I said I'm sorry at this moment I am having sex and I cannot talk and I hung up then the gentleman called me back from his personal cell phone that 818 number that you could see in the screenshot to tell me that he was so sorry for interrupting my sexual encounter and that if he could listen to it I've then hung up I've been called back to the company five different times until I was able to receive a person who was not the gentleman that had called me and asked for a supervisor he then gave me his reassurance that he was going to talk to his boss in regards to this gentleman's behavior however it's not common for this to have happened so therefore I feel like this company needs to be removed from the ability to do telemarketing for the State of California and the federal government especially if it's a federal governmentBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/09/10) */ We were deeply disturbed when we received this notice of complaint. Especially due to how serious the subject matter is. We have completely audited our phone system and could not find any record of this clients phone number or name in our system. We do not make outbound, cold calls. We have researched this complaint thoroughly and cannot find any record of this person's phone number in our phone system (inbound or outbound). We have no record of this person being a former client by name, address or email. We checked all employee files current & previous and none of them have/had personal cells using an 818 area code. Please reach back out to the person who filed this complaint and ask for any additional information so that we can fully investigate this matter as we take this matter very seriously. thank you Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/09/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have attached all documents showing the information that I have planned in this affidavit and complaints against this company therefore them saying that they cannot find any incoming or outcoming calls is bull and I do not appreciate them trying to call me a liar Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2021/09/16) */ We went as far as having the 3rd party phone system that we use do a complete audit for the phone number that was provided in this complaint. There is no record in our phone system that the phone number provided had ever been in our system. No record of outbound or inbound calls this number. We are taking this matter extremely seriously. We have been in business for over 10 years with a long track history of high customer satisfaction. We would never insinuate anyone being untruthful. We are simply stating that the phone number provided by this complaint and or the persons name has never been in our system and we audited the phone system to see if anything had been deleted and found nothing there as well. Our company does not make outbound sales calls. 100% of our calls are inbound that come from direct mail marketing campaigns. When clients call in from our mailers they provide us a file number from the mailer that we are able to then pull up the clients information ect... Again we have zero records of this person or the phone number that they provided. To add to that we have never had an employee over the past 10 years that had an 818 area code on their cell phone. Our goal is to make sure that any & all persons that have any contact with our company is 100% satisfied with their experience with us. This complaint deeply disturbed us when we received it and had we found any evidence that it occurred that employee would have been terminated immediately. 100% of all inbound and outbound calls are not only archived forever, but we record every call. Had this person called into our phone system we would have had multiple ways to trace every call. We found no trace that this person ever called into our company. We want to get to the bottom of whatever happened here and give this person the resolution that they are seeking. Again we would immediately terminate any employee that would do anything like this. As I stated earlier we do not make ANY outbound sales calls so based on the information that this client has provided we stand behind our statement that this person or their phone number has ever had any contact with our company. So are you going to tell me that that number on that screenshot is not your guys's outbound phone number because then whoever called my phone is claiming to be fresh start and when I called them right now there company name when asked was fresh start Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2021/09/17) */ Again we have zero record of the phone number that this consumer sent a screenshot of. We believe this consumer must be mistaken about which Fresh Start company contacted her. We never make outbound sales calls to start with. This consumers phone number has never been in our phone system. This consumer provided a generic screenshot of their phone number with no correlating shot that their number either dialed into our place of business or that our place of business ever dialed their phone number. Please ask the consumer to confirm that they are certain that our company Fresh Start Advocates is the correct business that they want to issue a complaint towards. What toll free phone number called this consumer originally? We want a full understanding of what happened here, but at this point there simply isn't any evidence this consumer ever called our Fresh Start business. Thank you
