Ordered Roll-up Doors for company. (2 metal & 1 Glass door) Job with installation cost and add ons for install cost around 25-26K. Co-Vid slowed down project. We were all limited to choices. They ordered the doors and they came in to their location in Tampa and company reached out to me for delivery. We (Brian Stikeleather & myself) had spoke intially they could hold for limited amount of time if needed as Co-Vid was slowing everything down including my barn install. It did extend for a period of time and Brian reached back out to me stating they would be charging me for storage (Oct 21, 2022) because of the extended amount of time project was delayed. Thought the charges were in excess but that can be arguable. I do understand that it was taking up shelf space for an extended period of time. I was given options to pay the charges and continue to pay the charges, which ultimately was how it worked out. The other choice was to pay the current storage charges and pick up or have delived to my job site (for a delivery charge), but I would retain responsibility for missing parts or any damage at that point as was presented by brian in our email communication. Therefore I weighed my options and didn't want to assume the responsibility and paid storage charges prior to delivery & install. In choosing this option, American Roll-Up Doors also assumed responsibility for the doors at this point, which was the mitigating factor in my choice. Install was successful for the most part. Glass door roll-up still has water the creeps in during rain storms. Brians response is that it is fault of concrete guys. Again, maybe arguable. The problem lies that the metal rollup doors have visible damage that I had communicated with Brian via email. Sent Brian pics( March 8, 2022), and he said he would order more panels and contact me when they came in. Had another couple minor discussions after that. As of this date communication has ceased from Brian & no new panels.
