      Consumer complaint against: Velo Fence *************************************************************************** Breach of Contract Timeline October 21, 2022 Vilo Fence representative ***************************** came and did measurements at 945 *********** for an enclosure of an existing fence.The results of that measurements resulted in a quotation number ****.Quote number **** was accepted.October 24, 2022 Vilo Fence was sent survey and I personally went into the office signed the documents today asked me to. Quote **** was stamped approved and I gave them a deposit of $764.65 via credit card.Vilo Fence scheduled the installation for November 7, 2022.The quotation included pictures of what the install product would be including. November 3, 2022 Vilo Fence said that they miscalculated and it would be $550 to complete the side panel.I went into the office at Vilo and spoke with ******************** the Vice President and said that they wouldnt honor the original quote. She also stated that they would not split the difference because it was their mistake even though they had charged a premium for a small job. At that time she mentioned that she would give me a total refund for the deposit.November 4, 2022 ***************************** verified that the installation would be on November 7 as scheduled for the the gates closure of the of the north side of the home. Also included was the two gates on the garage side of the home.November 7, 2022 ViloFence did not install fence as contracted.November 17, 2022 Vilo Fence has not refunded deposit or installed fence as contracted.Submitted by:********************* ******************************************************************* ****************** ************

      the week of aug 20/2021 they started had to redo various parts. they broke sprinkler pipe (they fixed) put incorrect hardware on gates and door. Dariel(sales man) changed out two handles black. i handed him a bank certified ck of $1804.00 he then signed acceptance and paid in full on the contract. june 2021 upon hiring the company i was given estimates of a total of the front of my property which was only a gate then the west side which was quoted $2434.00 then the north side which was split between us and my neighbor ***** **** that was quoted as $2940.00 and that was to be split in half for both of us so my half was 1470.00 and same for *****. the total quote for my fence was 3904.00 of which i paid 2100.00 due prior to start of project this was pd in June 2021 by cert ck. upon completion of fence pd bal of 1804.00 to Dariel. they state there is a remaining bal of 1470.00 which was already paid by ***** my neighbor they are double charging us please help. this is paid in full.

We are sorry for the difficulties you had with the install of the fence construction can be daunting, we do are best to provide customers with a seamless install. Unfortunately, some underground objects don't get marked but we do are best to repair as timely as possible as we did. We are also sorry that you are disappointed with your contract value. There must have been some miscommunication as the quote we gave you included all sides of your yards excluding your east side. The side in question in your comment was the north side that the quote shows needed to pay in full, your neighbor that we installed as well completely excludes this side. Are estimator tried his best to explain prior to signing we apologized if we weren't clear enough. Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback. Your satisfaction is invaluable to us. We are certainly disappointed to hear that in your eyes we did not meet the mark. In the future we will strive to ensure this miscommunication does not repeat itself. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2021/09/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) i spoke to the company and they want me to obtain the difference of 1470.00 which is my neighbors balance owed for the north fence and this is not my responsibility this should have been split in the original contract as requested by both home owners now i paid my contract as quoted and they are trying to have me pay more when my neighbor of whom went to the office of which i have no way of knowing what he was told or paid at the time i was not there so my neighbor stated he is paid as told in full by the office so in deed this the truth then they are looking to have me pay for full north fence when he already paid his half to them where in reality then i again have already paid my half in full thank you. i am not taking this up against my neighbor due to their miscommunication of issuing contract this is their responsibility but never the less they need to accept their either error or release the fact of trying to double dip the service as it seems because there is a lifetime warranty sold with the fence for present and future property owners. the person i spoke to last week was to have the business owner contact me and they never have please help us to resolve this nightmare thank you. ****
