This company was subcontracted by ****** Installation Services to subcontract floor installers to install sheet vinyl flooring in my parents' garage on October 31, 2023. My parents had paid an extra disconnect/reconnect fee, to have the installers disconnect their dryer, which was sitting on top of the existing flooring, perform the installation and then reconnect the dryer. The installers actually just ripped the dryer out of the wall, causing damage to the dryer vent hose. Additionally, there is a sink attached to the floor and the wall, in the space they were working in and they tried to lift it, resulting in the pipe and its connection to the sink being damaged, causing the sink to leak. Once the floor was fully installed, we noticed tons of bubbles all throughout the flooring, but were told that it needed to settle. After days of it not settling, we called Floor Interior Services back and told them there was something wrong. They sent out the same crew who installed it, to review their own work. One of the installers tried to hand roll out the bubbles with a tiny hand roller, while another one called around to get advice on what could be the issue, only to come to the conclusion that they used the wrong glue. It took three and a half months of playing weekly e-mail and phone tag with ****** Installation Services, Floor Interior Services and the Operations Manager at the ****** store, before we could finally get refunded for the repairs necessary and a portion of the installation fee, since we will need to have the floor replaced much sooner than should be necessary. *****************************, with Floor Interior Services, claims this has been addressed, management has been changed and "people were fired," to prevent this from happening to other customers, since our installation, but I will never trust this company to do anything on my parents' home, again.

thank you for inquiring about the status of our Better Business Bureau complaint against Floor Interior Services in *****,  *******. The business has settled our concern by agreeing to reimburse us for all of the repairs that were performed due to the damage their installers caused, as well as 50% of the labor related charges.

No further action is needed from the Better Business Bureau or Floor Interior Services on this complaint. However, I would recommend that the Better Business Bureau reconsider its "A" rating of this company, considering the reviews on the Better Business Bureau's site, as well as this complaint.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

They were hired and paid 20,000 to replace the floors in my home with a satisfaction guarantee. as soon as the job was completed i emailed and advised the job was unacceptable as there were areas with loose tiles, defective tile with bubbling and etching issues, missing grout, the wrong color grout used and damage to my home. the company was sent out and applied a sealer to the grout in the correct color and caulked some areas. when they came to my home they didnt use the specified lock box but broke into a window thus causing further damage. i immediately responded and sent photographs. To date i have received no response after the initial "we are looking into it". my husband and i are older and still working so we are out of town often. i unfortunately have been out of town frequently and haven't been able to devote the attention needed to this issue. I was last speaking with S. Hernandez who all together stopped responding. Now his email is undeliverable. I am requesting a full refund, Them to demo the incorrectly installed tile and provide housing payment for the time it takes to be replaced. i have sent emails and called with no response to date.. what happens when one of use trips and falls and is seriously injured from this poor work? i have also had a quote from another flooring company for repair of the mentioned areas and he advised me that the work is so poor and the defects are so bad that the tiles will all continue to pop up. who is going to pay for this?

, On Monday, May 9, 2022, I had this company deliver tiles to my home. The company arrived and asked to back into our driveway (where my car was parked on one side) to deliver the tiles. My dad was standing in the driveway with one of the workers and watching at the driver backed into the driveway. All the sudden the driver smashes into my car's bumper (I watched the whole thing from the window). I come outside to see how much damage has been done. The car is slightly dented and the paint scratched off. I immediately move my car out of the way so they can finish, but I asked the driver (Gavin) for his supervisor's name and phone number- Brad A. I call Brad who doesn't much care about what just happens and immediately calls his driver. The boys finish delivering the tile and then leave. Yep- LEAVE. They just took off. I called my ins co to ask them what I should do, they tell me to file a claim. Under their advice I file. Then, Brad calls me and tells me Gavin will come back and exchange ins info. Yeah, you THINK! Turns out, this tile company doesn't insure it's trucks or it's company. So, Gavin gives me his PERSONAL State Farm car ins. info. The police were called and after waiting 4 hours for an officer to arrive, the cop tells me Gavin did nothing wrong, and won't be getting a citation. Really? He did nothing wrong? He backed his truck into my car, on my property, in my own driveway, in front of my father and his co-worker, and he DID NOTHING WRONG? Mmmk. Fine. So, a crash report was filed. My State Farm claims adjuster calls me the next day to tell me that because I was the one to file the claim, not Mr. idiot truck driver, none of the damage will be paid by Gavin's insurance (which is the same company I get my ins through). Um, what? The claims adjuster tells me that if I had let Gavin file, all damages would have been covered. So, not only did this company hit my car and damage it, but they robbed me of my money, and 5 hours of my day off. HELP!
