Called for service, Jeffery (with 10 years experience) came out promptly. Diagnosed garage door open need to be replaced. Offered to do so at $800 and I told him thank you but no. I can replace the door opener at Home Deport for under $200. Jeffery told us the motor was burned out. I called the Mfg (Chamberlin) and they sent a replacement motor at no charge.. Asked a friend to help me replace the motor in the existing opener. Before we did anything we found that the door had traveled beyond it's safety stop. We released the cable and reset the door and everything worked fine. 15 minutes to have door back in order. Has been working now for two weeks. Company charges $75 to diagnose problem, which would have been fine had the diagnosis been correct but it wasn't and it sure seemed as if the company was trying to take advantage of a 70 year old man. Jeffery needs a little more training. I do not recommend using this company.Review from Rita E

I'm very pleased with the service I received today. Mark was great! He arrived on time, he was very knowledgeable and had all the supplies needed on his truck to put in a new lift and rollers right away. I also really liked that I didn't have to make another appointment for the installation to be done. I got several quotes this week to fix my garage from other companies in Tampa and Local Garage Door Pros was by far the best price! Thank you!
