      Taurus construction did work on my home last year and I was told to have one year warranty on the job. Since then I have reached out numerous times to have someone come out and fix some things that the installed to be refixed and my husband and I have had no returned calls since 12/28@852 a.m. We called because the cabinet door they installed just came out of the wall. Had to try and get fixed so the cabinet would not get damaged which is ridiculous. They put on new electrical stuff in the kitchen went to use the plug for the first time and the whole thing just totally broke off. We already had so many problems with this company and here we are with continued problems and them not owning up to what was stated as a so called warranty

      I am rejecting this response because: This is not people or a business that anyone should invite in their home. Reading is fundamental . The 64, 000 is of the total overall work of the project. No one asked for that amount. If the cabinets was installed correctly, the whole thing should now come apart in less than a year. And as we stated, we  never used the plug until then and the whole thing came apart with wires exposed. No wear and tear just horrible instillation throughout the project. tried to be nice but please note you came back numerous times to fix items that you all never completed or messed up so lets just be honest and transparent. You painted walls the incorrectly, had to scape up all the flooring because you laid it incorrectly, backsplash had to be redone and placed the kitchen island crooked. So please note we  have pictures, videos and converse of all mistakes done by this company.   My husband and I feel that it has taken numerous calls to this office, texts and now  max 10 days for this business to respond. We will find someone else to fix it. There is nothing good about this business and many of my neighbors have seen the madness and chaos we have gone through and made sure they will not recommend them to even sweep the leaves from their yards. Thank you BBB for showing the lack of customer service and care this business does. If they cant even address little things why spend money with them for bigger things

      At this time, our offer to inspect the complained of issues remains open. Despite the time frame involved in this matter, Taurus is still willing to work towards a resolution in this matter. Of course, it is your choice whether you will allow Taurus to present to your property and inspect these portions of the project. As stated previously, Taurus is interested in standing by their work. As such, Taurus would require an opportunity to inspect the project in order to appropriately determine a resolution in this situation. In addition, you have referenced a warranty with respect to this project and we have asked for additional documentation regarding this warranty, as our file does not reflect a specific warranty. Regardless, Taurus is interested in resolving this matter as efficiently as possible for all parties involved. 

      Our offer to inspect and assist in an appropriate resolution will remain open. Thank you.

      Taurus renovation failed to properly store and install LVP flooring in my home per the manufacturer instructions. The flooring is scratching very easily due to this. However, the larger issue is that the Project Manager came to repair one area of the flooring that was separating. He stated that the flooring was broken and he would have to come back with more supplies and manpower to permanently fix the floor. He did a temporary tix, which made the floor worse. It is now rising up, has sharp edges, and is peeling. So much so that it caused my grandson so cut his leg on it while he was crawling around. I reached out to the business owner and asked when they were going to come and fix the floor as is PM stated, and he said they werent going to come back out and threatened legal action against me if I pursued the issue. Also, it appears that I was lied to regarding the required permits. I was told that since the county was so backed up, that they would allow an engineer to certify all work completed, and no permits were needed. Obviously this was also a lie.

      Thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention. We understand that this situation has caused you frustration and concern. At Taurus, we strive to provide quality services and are dedicated to our customers and our work. 
      Based on the information contained in this complaint, and our previous investigations into this matter, we cannot agree to a full replacement as requested. It is important to note that a thorough investigation has been conducted since we became aware of this issue in 2022. We have attached a document from LL Flooring, which is the supplier of the flooring installed at your property. That letter reflects a response from LL Flooring regarding this complaint related to the flooring, which suggests that the damage to the flooring was caused by improper maintenance and/or usage of the floor. Taurus has also communicated with several individuals in the flooring industry in order to determine the cause of this issue. Unfortunately, we have been unable to obtain any form of warranty coverage for this issue or identify any error in the storage and/or installation of the flooring. The flooring was stored and installed properly, and Taurus has stored and installed the same type of flooring, in a substantially similar manner, in numerous other properties without issue.  
      Taurus has repeatedly come out to the property in order to investigate and rectify any issues which could have been caused by Taurus in the scope and course of their work on your property. Taurus makes it a priority to stand by their work, which is why we have consistently responded to your concerns and addressed any issues with the work that had been done, including repairs to drawers, cabinets, etc., despite firmly believing that all repaired issues were not caused by Taurus or their workmanship. We firmly believe that the flooring was stored and installed according to industry standard and manufacturer instruction. 
      Based on our investigation thus far, the complaint of damage to the flooring appears to be the result of improper maintenance of the flooring or accidental damage. This was confirmed by conversation with ***************** and other individuals in the industry that have mentioned that this type of damage could be caused by steam cleaning or the use of harsh cleaning materials on the flooring. Taurus has performed fully under the written agreement between the parties, and Taurus cannot accept responsibility for damage caused to any product or material installed if such damage is caused by accidental damage or improper maintenance.
      We are happy to continue discussing this matter, and we welcome the opportunity to review any materials you are able to provide regarding the storage of the flooring materials prior to installation.

      ******* ****** hired Taurus Renovation and Builders, Inc., owned and operated by Mr. Hugo R., to remodel her home. Most of the work focused on repainting and replacing all flooring, but other items were also verbally agreed to. The initial contract was for $14,970. Work began on 11/04/2021. Mr. R. said the project would be completed in two weeks. On 11/11/2021, ******* signed a second contract with Taurus Renovation and Builders, Inc. for $4000 to repair her concrete slab foundation to protect the new flooring. As part of the second contract, Mr. R. said he would bring an engineer to her home to consult with her and Mr. R. about how best to repair her cracked concrete flooring. Mr. R. never supplied a consulting engineer and is now demanding that ******* pay Taurus R&B an additional $1225 for an engineer consultation. To this date, 12/13/2021, Taurus R&B has not fully completed one item in the contract. NOT ONE. What little work Mr. R.'s company has done has been done carelessly and yielded grossly inferior results. On top of the substandard quality of work, Taurus R&B has spattered paint throughout *******'s home and has thus far refused to clean the spattered paint from *******'s house altogether. To date, ******* ****** has paid Taurus R&B a total of $11,135 and has nothing but a huge mess to show for it. Taurus R&B, specifically Hugo R., has refused to address any of my complaints promptly. When I persist, he lies, blames others, makes excuses, continues to ignore me, or becomes verbally aggressive. My experience of Hugo R.' company is that he will overpromise and then fail to deliver. He will do the work as quickly and cheaply as possible, using unskilled labor and completely ignoring nationally recognized and accepted industry standards. I have provided an MS Word document that contains a link to an abundance of supporting evidence. I am also submitting copies of all official complaints I have made so far. Thank you.

Although some work had been done, the project is not even close to being completed.
