Scheduled a follow up Doctors appointment with Tampa Family Health centers on ***** Avenue. Upon making the appointment I discussed my need to have an early appointment as I can not miss work and no weekend appointments available. I was given a 9 am appointment. 40 minutes later I was called back and I have waited another 30 minutes in a patient room. No vitals done. They sent a high school student to do my vitals and the machine is not working properly! Front desk staff completely rude and argumentative review the cameras. Office Manager rude, did nothing to rectify the poor scheduling. The Hispanic nurse who called me back is super rude in body language, nasty facial expressions to me. Family health centers intentionally over book patients and cause patients to miss work. At this point tampa family health centers should be made financially liable for patients missed wages due to the poor scheduling techniques. The clinic seems to be more concerned with numbers than care. Not 1 staff member came to to discuss the situation not 1. I must add I conducted myself in a respectful manner to be told to calm down. Everyone involved with this situation could handle it differently. The fact that the physician was more concerned with a standard questionnaire instead of understanding the circumstances of the patient. I feel mishandled by this establishment. I do not feel good leaving this appointment. Thank you for reinforcing trust issues in health care.

When I go to the Tampa Family Health location that is on ************** in Tampa they schedule my appointments for me. They never ask and they have told me they pick the times of the appointments. They do not have a system to reschedule psychiatry appointments over the phone. I have been trying to reschedule an appointment for almost three weeks now but I have not been able to make any progress. I don't drive and have not been able to for health reasons to make a rideshare trip out there to reschedule. I feel that they were asking me to choose between school and my health. I also feel they were trying to lessen the needs of mental health in comparison to other kinds. They have added more stress to my life. I finally after calling as much as I can ( I have ADHD and other comorbidities) I finally filed a official complaint today. Why? Because I had to cancel my appointment, an appointment that I need to maintain my health and my status in the community. I got a phone call from someone at Tampa Family Health that said I would need to see my provider each time and get a referral to see a psychiatrist. I don't have a normal job and now I have to spend a buttload of money to see my regular provider to get a referral. I am out of my medication. I am not sure how I can do my job, and I am the sole provider for my family. They would not let me reschedule a necessary medical appointment. I feel like this needs to be addressed.

This is particularly about the clinic itself but it's also about my practitioner they have decided that they don't like to prescribe needed medication when it is needed I've been epileptic for years I have been on a specific seizure medication because I missed my appointment to redo my prescriptions they won't give me a month's worth of my seizure medication to hold me over till my next appointment so I'm without my seizure meds and I've already had three of them and nobody cares her like I thought it was an important medication kind of like what they would say about h blood pressure medication it's something you can't go without and they just don't care there they don't give anything they don't care about their patients at all and I get it it's state funded of course you're not going to have anybody that really gives a s*** about you but still this is this is not like I'm asking for drugs this is my seizure medication and they hold your medications over your head like a carrot and this is the Tampa Family Health off of ******************* Tampa ******* *****

To whom it may concern. May 25 2022 I went to this clinic 4 general check up. I also inquired about examining my left shoulder with X rays because I though it was dislocated. They immediately said x-rays wont help me with that, and that i needed an MRI. I said NO. I try to pay same day but they wouldn't take payment nor give me a bill. i then contact there offices on 3 different dates for my results about a month time and never recvd any results either. on Nov 9th i went to the clinic to speak to a manager, she wasn't available, i ask again for my result and a bill with specification. i only received results without full disclosure of charges. there bill is $550.00 they are Fraudelently charging me for examination of my ******, Colon. and as well as my shoulder which NON accured. never requested anything about my Colon or R***** in 1st place, was never a topic and never got Xrays either or any other type of treatment for my shoulder since according to the Doctor which was an Indian Dr. only recommended an MRI for over $500 which i was never going to get because i don't have that kind of money laying around, THEY ARE Committing FRAUD and should be investigated. i do NOT owed $550 I owed for the blood examination of my Collesterol and Trygliceros. and blood withdrawl is free anyway according to their agents. please correct this matter, It took them 5 months to get my results and now they want to fraudulently charge me for services they didn't provide. They want to charge me for this codes m25-512 which apparently has to do with shoulder pain. Z12.11 Colon Screening. Again never requested this exams. Z12.12 R***** AGAIN, never even mention anything with my R***** or Colon. THIS IS FRAUD PERIOD. And finally Z68.23 Don't even have a clue what this is , nor did I requested it. never. will not pay False charges. Please correct this matter and investigate this Clinic ASAP *********************** Thank you.

I have been using Tampa Family Health Centers for over 10 years. During this time, I had gotten married and changed my name. In the Grace Point office, they had 2 files on me, ******-******* and ****. Because of the mix-up, I then left and went to the Sligh office. Stood there a couple years, but needing surgery and was giving the run around by the NP Lauren, and though the lines were extremely long, they still denied people from being seen 15 minutes past the sign in time. I decided to move once again to another office, Causeway. In April I was having issues with getting my meds. In May it was the same scenario. They updated to MyChart, which didn't work and the majority of my meds were not there. The pharmacy started reaching out to me sating they could not get a old of my doctors to have the meds released. This is not July and I am still going through the same heartache. I should not have to skip days just to make sure I have enough medication to last me month to month. I am a type 2 diabetic with hypertension; high cholesterol, chronic back aches due to previous surgery, suffering from a cyst on my ovary with fibroids, and suffer from depression and anxiety. That is six total medications I am on. The office does not have an appointment until late August and I do not have meds to last me that long. They stated to come in as a walk-in, however I work from 10 am until 7 pm; I do not have days off where I can sit around a doctors office without my job being at risk. I am tired of going through this. Is there anyone who can assist? I am not ready to die, though it seems that this business does not care whether I do or don't.
