I am a breast cancer patient and my docotor utilizes this facility and I had the worst experience with the Nurses on the 7th FL East. Very dismissive and honestly I felt discriminated against. Very disappointed at staff. Reached out and filed a complaint with Customer Experience ************************* and Director of Operations ********************************* 3.1.24.I have yet to hear from anyone beside the fact Customer Experience is investigating. As a person of color with Stage IV Breast Cancer I am very disappointed especially when there is a known fact that woman of color does not receive proper health care treatment in facilities. Recieved food 4 hours after my procedure and it was incorrect. Staff is very unprofessional Nurse ****** (no longer there) I can go on.

So I went to st ****** hospital 09/21/2023 The doctor I had was very wrong ***** name ((***************************))& Her ***** *** Nurse ((******* *******)) was very disappointed n discouraged Nasty People Working To Help People Was not there to help i have a hurt leg they tell me nothing wrong with my leg like they living in my body then these hoes gonna tell me they can't give me a muscle relaxer cuz I don't have a ride which I did have a ride on point coming to get me to take me to my mother's house then they going to say oh you don't have a place to live so we cant give you a muscle relaxer I just told these people my mother just sent me a cap to her house for the night while I take my muscle relaxers to heal my legs but instead they wrote me prescription for muscle relaxer which is crazy why would you write me a prescription i have no where to stay I'm still have to take that same muscle relaxer and still have no where to stay then they police man thanks he scared me boy bye and get out my way im not scared of u or them unhelpful hoes I have a video of it all

By far the worst experience ever. This hospital does not care about its patients and has horrible bedside manner. I give them zero stars. My male cousin had brain surgery at this location & was discharged on 3/29/23. His discharge nurse name was ************ on call nurse name was *****. My cousin was pressing the button to call the nurse & a male nurse came him aggressively yelling at him asking him what he wanted with his girlfriend & why does he keep calling his girlfriend. My cousin apologized to the male nurse for trying to reach *****. My cousin said that the guy continued to approach his ************ felt so scared he told they guy that he didnt need help anymore. My elderly mother came to pick my cousin up from the hospital and when they got in the car my cousin broke down crying hysterically telling my mother about the confrontation & how he never wants to come back there again. I was flabbergasted. My cousin just had a major surgery at the hospital & to have an employee intimidating him is disgusting. Once I was advised of the situation I immediately called to file a complaint on the same day. I spoke with ******. ****** told me the only way I could file a complaint is if I provided her with my personal information name, address, *********** address & the same information for my cousin. I reluctantly provided her with my information since this was the only way the complaint could be filed. She told me the matter would be escalated & I would hear back from someone within 3 business days. A full week went by & I didnt hear anything so I called back & spoke with a ******** said it would take a total of 7 business days. Its now May 13th & I still have not heard from anyone. They asked for my name, phone #, email address & address and no one has used any method of contact provided to address our concerns. I would never recommend this disgusting hospital to anyone.

By far the WORST experience at this hospital!!! I came here due to severe chest pains and the front desk staff was RUDE and unprofessional. ***** the front desk check-in person along with members on the *** staff were not helpful to my concerns and laughed once I walked off after asking if they had an estimate of how long the wait will be. While waiting theyve also violated HIPPA by talking about other patients and their conditions, loudly although there are current patients here waiting to be seen. The front desk staff is horrible and needs to be reprimanded immediately. I will be filing a further complaint about this issue. There was also a young lady in the front that had a terrible attitude and got snappy with me even after I came off very nice and patient towards her. This hospital NEEDS TO DO BETTER and their front desk staff is making the hospital look bad. As a patient we come to seek care, we do not come to deal with people attitude and rudeness. By far the worst hospital and I wouldnt recommend anyone to come here. Further training needs to be done and HIPPA needs to be discussed because it is UNACCEPTABLE to talk about patients and joking about their condition. As stated, I will be filing a further complaint on this matter.

I visited the er with my minor child not only did they call somebody to the back that came in 15mins after us before they called my child to the back and she was already seen by the triage nurse.They said we was waiting on a room.Then we get to the back the room says that it was clean but after about 30 to 40 mins later housekeeping comes in and start changing trash etc as if the room wasn't cleaned like it stated.When I asked I thought the room was already cleaned they came up with an excuse that didn't make any sense then they tried to catch an attitude because I was asking question so I just ended the conversation with my mother worked here at the hospital for 24yrs in environmental services so I know how the cleaning goes even in the er

It is sad that I have to write this review. To start, I will say I have been in and out this facility in Tampa (MLK Ave.) for the last 6 months. First with my mother in-law, and recently as last night with my father in-law. I will give this facility minus 20 starts if I could. Emergency room is dirty and lack a good lighting, it is a depressing environment. Emergency room does not have a display informing the average waiting time based on patient evaluation. It will allow the patient opting to go to another facility if you will be waiting for care for extended amount of time as it happens quite often (10 hours and more) The emergency area personal in direct contact with the waiting patients is lacking empathy and professionalism. It is obvious that the institution is not Intune with the new reality. In Covid19 times you have to have plan B and C if necessary. Your system can be overwhelmed by a combination of Covid related patients and regular (other conditions) patients. You are suppose to staff (nurses and doctors) accordingly, to minimize the stress and suffering on both kind of cases. It is the entity's responsibility to keep up with the needs and demands, as part of their effort to be successful and also generate profit. The personnel offers you all sort of excuses and even complaints about management not handling the workload properly and so on. It looks like they have been trained to provide you with unimaginable excuses and if they realize they are not convincing you, they immediately jump to whisper anything about the awful management and work environment. But I can tell you that I witness a personal in general well trained and compromised to be extra careful on what, and how to produce medical records that keep them await from legal issues, than careful and compassionate to do the right things, especially while administering medications among other things/protocols. I hope this contributes to a better hospital servicing our community.

The G.I. department has the worst service from the front desk. They were rude, Argumentative, short and just don't give a damn about anything! Hire staff who care after your patients this is the 2nd doctor I have seen for my son because I can not get any answers from his regular doctor now I need to find another doctor who actually cares.
