We currently checked into the Westin Waterside hotel in Tampa FL. First off the night desk supervisor was absolutely no help then left shift. The only staff that was so called here was ****** ******* He was so unprofessional and laughed at us the entire time. We just drive over 3hrs to this hotel for my daughters convention. The hotel stole our money. We paid $720.42 on arrival and it said approved on key pad, and I opened up my **** bank and showed ****** who continued to laugh and think it was a joke. Then we proceeded to get the **** bank of phone and the bank told ****** it went through on hotels end and banks end. ****** continued to think it was a joke and ignored the bank and us. Then my wife asked for a printout of receipt transactions, then ****** went to back room for a while then tried to come up front and print. My wife took a picture of the transactions because she knew they were trying to rip us off. ****** tried cutting the transaction 23:43 out and gave her that printout with the approved transaction of $720.42. I cannot believe we were trying to be scammed right in front of us. We just paid for one night and that is the only reason we were able to get a room tonight because my daughter performs in intrigue competition here early in the morning. We need assistance ASAP while we are in this hotel by management and WE EXPECT A FULL REFUND NOW today 5/18/2024. ******************* also needs to be removed from his position. Just check the cameras at front desk from 23:43 through 00:29. You will see how rude and ignorant and how he did not care nor help and though all this was so funny. Me and my wife are both Veterans and my wife is a nurse and we drove hours to get here and this is how we get treated right away before even checking in? I will keep pushing this issue until these personnel are removed and we get a full refund before we even leave this hotel. I have attached the so called receipt printout where ****** tried to erase the 23:43 line transaction
