I hired Everything Outdoors to design/install low maintenance landscaping for our yard. After installation, I challenged them on the quality of the plants. Sales guy told me they were smaller than they should be and would ask for a discount. He told me no discount allowed. In the estimate they indicate plant size 3 gallon plant, 5 gallon plant, etc. The plants they installed were too small. I purchased 1.6 gallon plant from ********** which was 3 times the size of 3 gallon plants they installed. I have 1 quart containers left behind but no 1 quart plants in estimate. I had someone from the ************************************* perform an unpaid / unbiased assessment of the plants, trees, mulch and sod. They said the size/quality of plants/trees they installed did not match the estimate and ** standards and were not planted correctly. They installed too much mulch, the sod was install incorrectly. The sales guy told me I needed 2 inches think of mulch. Using online calculators I should have mulch less mulch than what they charged. The owner came out and noted places he measured 6 inches of mulch. This excess mulch is killing many of my plants, yet they still charged me for the overage.The sod they installed was poorly done. They did not arrange it correctly nor did they roll it. I have other grass growing up through it and between sections. I have major tripping hazards for my kids with huge holes, hills and valleys in the sod and we have a level yard. They installed a tree out front and tied it up. They tied it incorrectly and permanently damaged the tree, It is slowly dying. Also, they cut my marked cable which was in their hands, cut other power to landscape lighting and sump pumps, they did not tell me of water leak which was $2600. 3 day job took a month. They threatened legal options so I paid most of it while I worked on collecting evidence to show why they are in the wrong.
