This involves Green Country Growers CBD Oil. I have been trying to cancel a membership I did not want nor thought I had signed up for. I ordered a sample with the assurance that it was a one time offer and I still am getting charged for it and don't want it. I have gone to their website and there is no way to actually get hold of them to cancel.Business response

False avertisment. in sept of 2021 ordered CBD (3 diferent products) for trying it for $6.81. they are sending me more every month THAT I DID NOT AGREE TO and they DID NOT inform me about that. They are now wanting to charge $162.00 that they will return to me if i do 5 other things in returning shipment and they are still charging me $37.00 extra charge with than restocking the item along with calling them back in 2-3 weeks. i nnever agreed to have them shipping and charging me with CBD products monthly. i have to jump through hoops in order to cancell and if i get 1 thing wrong they will continue charging me almost $200 a month. In June 2021, I purchased an online order for CBD oil at the cost of $6.96 and CBD tablets, $6.81. Nothing indicated that if I did not cancel within a specific number of days that I would be charged monthly. The problem is that since July 2, I have been charged a total of $838.76 for the same sample size that I received in June. The amount of the monthly charges are as follows: CBD OIL - $99.96; CB TABLETS - $99.81; ONLINE MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION - $9.92. There is no way that these products should have cost this amount of money, NOR did I authorize Green Country Growers to continue to send me this product. This is an absolute SCAM and I am seeking retribution: my money and that this will never happen to anyone else. I had no idea that these charges were being withdrawn from my checking account over the past four months until last night when I was searching for another charge to my checking account. I would greatly appreciate if you can STOP these scammers and advise me on how I can have my money returned. In fact, I only received approx. four orders. When I tried to contact Green Country Growers, my efforts were in vane. From the chargers to my checking account, I managed to find telephone numbers, which were customer service numbers (3rd party). and had these accounts CANCELLED.Business response

This is a scam! I originally ordered a "free" bottle of CBD and only paid for shipping. As soon as I placed the order, I realized that they had also charged my credit card for another bottle of something that I did NOT want and somehow managed to purchase. I immediately emailed them and got a credit for that other bottle. NEVER received an email confirming my free bottle of CBD. Received the bottle and then noticed 2 additional charges on my credit card on 9/2/21 for $99.96 and $9.92 on 9/14/21. I contacted my credit card company for more information and got their phone number 800-600-5249. They told me that I had not signed up for a free bottle of CBD but for a "trial." That is a COMPLETE LIE! I know what I signed up for and I do NOT fall prey to giving my credit card to trials. They told me the charge for $99.96 was for the oil and the $9.92 was for an emailed magazine. I never received ANY emails from this company. Not even a confirmation for the product. REFUND MY MONEY! July 2021 I ordered an introductory sample of CBD oil and capsules from Green Country Growers. I did this online. I tried the product and decided it did not help. I did not order any additional product. September 10 I received another order of the product. I contacted Green Country Growers and asked why they sent another order. They said I agreed to receive additional monthly orders when I ordered the introductory sample. This was not stated anywhere in the online advertising. I demanded that they remove charges to my credit card. After a lot of back and forth they agreed to do that. They said I would have to mail the product back, which I said I would do. I now have to monitor my credit card to see if they are true to their word. This is clearly a scam and a fraud. This company has numerous BBB complaints for this very thing I experienced. They should be further investigated as I noticed that they have not responded to BBB requests.Business response

On Aug. 1, 2021 I order 3 sample of CBD products and expected to be charged about $12,00, I returned the package unopened because I became suspect that it might be scam. Today I received my Visa statement and discovered 5 charges from this company. I never ordered additional items and when I call the company they told be more products on the way. The two items were for over $99.00 each, plus when I was on the call with my ************************ Department, they discovered another $10.00 charge today. I have since looked up information about this company and discovered it is involved in Scams. Can you help me? Outside of my credit card statement, I did not receive any receipt or contract, not did I agree to have more items send to me. Thanks!Business response

I ordered a free sample of CBD oil ($7 shipping) but did not agree to receive or be billed for any additional product. Two charges showed up on my credit card two weeks later. I called the company but they claimed I have no account. I called the credit card company and requested a stop payment for a disputed charge, which they agreed to do. The company refunded me the unauthorized charges. I had received yet another unauthorized charge on my credit card on August 18, so I again tried to make contact with the company (this time listed under yet a third name, Lox Wellness). I was successful in my phone call, and, only after I threatened legal action against them, did they agree to refund all three unauthorized charges and delete my account with them. I received confirmation on my credit card today that the charges have been refunded. Hopefully, there will be no additional unauthorized charges. My opinion is that this is a company that tries to list unauthorized charges after giving free samples (for which I paid shipping charges on my credit card). I would never do business with them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Thank you for your help in this matter.
