filled in a survey on 26 July 2022 that offerred an item for $9.90 ( came as cdn$ *****). I gave my mastercard details to get that item that I received later.my latest bank statement shows a cdn$ ******, charged on 10 August 2022 without authorization ,from that outfit. I tried to send an email to their suport site but it bounces, as they have rigged that email to bounce support requests.this is a scammer and I intend to have my bank help to recover the stolen money.I'm asking help from the BBB to get a refund and warn others about that outfit.

Purchased an item for $6.95 from this website https://www.nextgengizmo.com (company is Next Gen Gizmo XXX-XXXXXXX Ut) and the credit card was used subsequently without my knowledge or approval to charge $111.45 for other unspecified services. I called the number listed, XXX-XXX-XXXX, for customer support and reached an automated message. The automated message said I had reached a medical alert call center and then the message attempted to sell me the service. When I did not agree to buy anything, the call was ended. I also emailed the company at '*******@nextgengizmo.com' requesting a refund and I am waiting for a response.

I completed a survey which promised a free gift on 1/12/22 which only required payment of shipping and handling. I paid the $6.95 shipping and handling with my credit card. Today, the fraud unit for my credit card company called me and said that Next Gen Gizmo attempted to charge $111.45 to my credit card. This charge was not authorized nor was it stated in the survey offer for a "free gift." I had to cancel my credit card and will need to arrange alternate payment methods for some of my regular expenses.

It is very low quality. Also, I don't want to do business with a company that lies and deceives.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/14) */ Contact Name and Title: Customer Support Contact Phone: ************ Contact Email: ************************ As it states on the order form it was a 15 day free trial. Our client has paid the S&H upfront, 15 days later if the trial is not cancelled, will be charged for the full amount. The recurring charge was declined and the order is cancelled. Our client has also contacted to our customer care line and informed. The RMA is given. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/12/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The offer in large font stated "free gift" and "only pay shipping and handling". No mention in the list of "gifts" or the offer disclosed the cost if the item or that it was a trial. There should be verbiage in large font on the offer before check out clarifying the actual nature of the offer. Hiding the true cost in terms and conditions when paying for "shipping and handling" is deceitful and preys on the elderly like myself who can't read the tiny font. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/12/15) */ We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please follow the return instructions. You will not be charged any further. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2021/12/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They will continue to receive people by hiding the true terms in the small print while lying in the ad headers. But at this time I done with them and waste any more time from my life on them.

A couple of weeks ago I came across a survey that offered a free gift while on Facebook. I completed the survey and at the end of the survey I picked my gift which was a headlamp and it came with a small flashlight. The only thing I was responsible for was the shipping. Yesterday my checking account was charged $64.94 by Next Gen Gizmo. I contacted their customer support and was told that the "gifts" I received were only on a trial basis. I was also told that I was supposed to be charged $128.00 but my account would only let them debit the smaller amount so they gave me a 50% discount. They told me their website explains all this. I never have been on their website. I completed the survey on Facebook. I was offered a gift for completing it. I wouldn't have purchased a headlamp and I certainly wouldn't purchase one for $128.00. I believe this is a scam and I want money back

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/10/08) */ This response was taken verbally by the BBB The customer agreed to the terms and conditions, if the customer is seeking a refund we can help with that as well. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2021/10/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The terms were to complete the survey & select a gift. I selected a gift, paid for shipping & then was scammed by this company. I already contested this with my bank. I would like this company to formally issue a refund. Thank you.
