      On or about 1/27/22, I saw an advertisement for Slim Tone. The advertisement stated that you could receive a free sample for only $6.95 in shipping cost. I ordered the sample from TRS Limited and received it. I got it for my wife who needed to lose weight but after trying it, she got sick from taking them and could not take it. I did not think any more about it until I got a letter from National Medical Administrators, Inc., a collection agency dated 2/16/22, stating that I owed $119.97. There was a form attached on which you could dispute the claim which is what I did. I also asked them to send me the paperwork showing that I had signed for this debt and sent the form back. Before I heard from them, I received a call from them trying to collect the debt. I told the woman that called that I did not owe the debt and would not pay it. While waiting for them to respond, I looked up National Medical and there were a lot of similar complaints filed about this product and others. It was always the same, the complaint owed $119.97. I also looked up TRS Limited and they also had a lot of complaints for this product and others and it was also $119.97. I received correspondence back from National Medical with nothing more than a copy of Terms and Conditions which they claimed formed the debt. (Noting I had signed or agreed to). I did not see this when I ordered the product. I called TRS and talked with a woman who gave me a number to call, which I did, guess what, it was another collection agency. They did not want to talk to me. Up to this point no one from TRS had tried to contact me. They just shipped it off to the collection agency with no contact with me. It is like they already knew I was not going to pay it. That should tell you something. I worked in banking for over 40 years. No business I know of would send something off to collections before contacting the customer unless they knew the customer was not going to pay it. I have always paid my legitimate bills but will not pay this. It is something fishy going on here, if not, there would not be so may complaints. National Medical has had 426 complaints over the last 4 years and 325 over the last 12 months. It shows this on their web site. I suggest that you look at both websites, very revealing. I filed a complaint back in January of 2022. All of this took place in 2022. I don't have all of the information now because it has been over a year. The BBB talked with the company and they agreed to take it out of the collection agencies hands and take it off their books. Today out of the blue, I get another call from the collection agency telling me I owed TRS Limited money.

The bottle that is shipped is an actual 30 day supply with a retail value of $119.97. Once the order is placed the 15 day trial period begins. During the 15 day trial period if the customer is not satisfied for any reason they can call to cancel. If the customer calls to cancel within the trial period they are given an RMA and are provided with a return address and return instructions and are asked to send back the unused portion and they avoid being billed the full price of that bottle of $119.97. If they do not call to cancel during the trial period they are then billed the full price of $119.97 for that bottle they received and then begin the Autoship program until canceled.

      We would like to comment that this customer was removed back in March 2022. We would like to assure the customer again that they have zero debit with us and that no negative impact was made to their credit which they will be able to confirm. Also we would like to advise the customer to please simply ignore any collection attempt that is made as this account has been escalated again for immediate remove the customer from the collections database. We will investigate deeper into how the customer was placed back into collections. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

      Company claims to have sent me a product that I never ordered or received and now has placed me in collections for the the amount of $139.97. When I contacted the company to dispute their claim to the amount I owed, they stated that the product was ordered and delivered and that I owed the money. I explained that I never ordered the product and asked for proof of purchase and the company provided me with the last 4 digits of a credit card I never owned. The representative claimed that I owed the money and there was nothing that could be done and that I would remain in collections. I desperately need your help as I feel this is a scam. Please help. Thank you.

      We would like to comment that we have already responded to this customers complaint in regards to their ***************** in which the account was removed from collections as a professional courtesy. *BBB complaint case number 20062178*

      Today we received this complaint however under the product of Slim Tone which the customer did not place with us. The only order that the customer had with us which was in collections was the Rhino *** which was already removed due to the previous BBB complaint.

      We will have a senior agent reach out to the customer to provide further explanation and to answer any questions they may have.

      I'm getting threatened by a credit collector for $119.97 for some pills that I did cancel in a timely manner and now they are threatening my credit score.

      We apologize for the delay in response as we experienced an internal communications error which caused the delay in addressing this complaint.

      The way the trial program works is that the customer pays the price of shipping $(S&H) for the product to be sent out and to try. The bottle that is shipped is an actual 30 day supply with a retail value of $119.97. Once the order is placed the 15/14 day trial period begins. During the 15/14 day trial period if the customer is not satisfied for any reason they can call to cancel. If the customer calls to cancel within the trial period they are given an RMA and are provided with a return address and return instructions and are asked to send back the unused portion and they avoid being billed the full price of that bottle of $119.97. If they do not call to cancel during the trial period they are then billed the full price of $119.97 for that bottle they received and then begin the Autoship program until canceled.

      With this situation the customer was charged the initial shipping charges and was sent both bottles and all attempts to bill the customer after the trial were unsuccessful and no returns were ever made. When this occurs this causes the account to be flagged into the collections database as the customer has received both of the products and still has the products but never canceled or returned the products so a collections call is made as an attempt to recover those funds.


      In our defense this shows as the first interaction on the account. There was never a call or email received in regards to a cancellation request. No returns were received.

      As a professional courtesy we have taken the decision to remove the customer from the collections database. This customer does not and will not owe anything and have no debt with us whatsoever moving forward. No negative impact was made to the customers credit. The customer should be able to confirm that all collection activity will cease in ***** hours and if any kind of attempt is made within the ***** hour time period of removal from the collections database they are to simply ignore.

      We have not received any kind of return however that is not an issue as we would like the customer to keep the bottles as a courtesy in hopes of resolving this in a positive manner.

      On Feb 10, 2022 I had purchased only one product that was valued at about $6 or so, but noticed right away that the website I was buying from was very glitchy and vague in terms of information provided about the purchase and product. There were no specific return policies, cancellation policies, or subscriptions listed clearly during the purchase of the product. When clicking next, during purchase, certain boxes were automatically checked for me, without me having the option to go back or edit the screen. After receiving the product in the mail, I realized a second bottle was included, without my knowledge or consent. I understood right away that all of it looked like a big scam, so I called my bank immediately, and closed down my card. I never opened the products. Two days ago I received a call from a collections agency (Structured Settlement), noting that I owed two payments of $119.97 each. That was not the price during time of purchase last year, because I would have instantly opted out. They were also charging for the second bottle sent without my consent. The collections agency sent me a text saying that my TRS Limited account will be sent to a law firm, which is absolutely shocking. I did not want them bothering me any further, so I paid the amount due in full. But I was very skeptical, as I had no idea this was even an issue up until their call, or the fact that there was even an account or charges, because of how sketchy Slim Tones selling method of their product was. This is utterly unprofessional, and looks to be nothing but a huge scamming effort. Many peoples shared experiences suggest the same. I dont want to be associated with anything related to this company, its products, and any charges related, whatsoever. I want immediate resolution and a refund for these collections as soon as possible. I also want a concrete guarantee that no other collection agency is going to bother me in the future about this, or try to reach me with fraudulent charges.

      02/2021 - I ordered Slim Tone Keto and Resultz Muscle - I cancelled product shortly after receiving it. Disputed the charges with the bank who found in my favor. Turned over to collection for amounts of ****** and ******, despite proving to the company that the bank found in my favor. On 07/25/2022, under duress I made a payment to the collection agency of **** and ******, who offered me a discount if I resolved, so I paid ***** and ***** respectively. Last night, I received a call from another collection agency wanting payment for the above. I told them that I already paid the claim to **** and ****** in July 2022. They didn't care. Also, when I filed my complaint in July, I received a call from what I thought was your office stating to disregard all further calls from collections that I would owe nothing. When I told the gentleman from the BBB I had already paid the above firm he apologized and stated that I would be getting a **** debit card for the amount I paid. That never happened. I tried to call him back and left messages, but never got a response. I need this other company and collection agency to leave me alone as I have paid and owe nothing. I did not get the name, but the phone number is ************. Please call me should you have any questions.

      I have been repeatedly told that I received reimbursement in the form of a electronic gift card   The gentleman I talked to today states that it is being sent to my email address and to check my junk/spam folder, which Ive done.    I have yet to receive a gift card for $139.98 as Ive been told to expect. This will be closed and satisfied once received.

      I received a call from a collections agency today stating that SlimeTone has placed me into collections for an account in 2021. I do not make an account with this company, and I have never received a letter or call from this company about any account. The sent an invoice stating I ordered the month of may in which I had not ordered SlimeTone. In fact I was pregnant and I would definitely not have order pills. I have not received any pills. I have tried contacting this company and got nothing. I am tired of receiving calls everyday saying this is a tempt to collect a ***** I have gotten threatened that this will destroy mine and even my husbands credit.

      Slimtone offered a free trial on a product and I subscribed and received one bottle in the mail. I canceled the subscription due to the nature and look of the bottle not being legitimate. Slimtone then tried to run my card number 4 separate times for $119.97 to where my bank requested me to close that card. When I tried to call them, they asked if I was someone that was not me. The reference number was not real and I work too hard on my credit for this to be something that hurts it. THIS IS A SCAM.

      I bought magic weight loss pills online and my wife immediately told me it was a scam after she saw the bank statement and questioned the charge that had every letter in the alphabet in the transaction line. I received ONE bottle of these "magic keto pills"which is still unopened. The company charged my account $119.95 two separate times four days apart before my wife noticed. Both transactions were from random scam like companies. My wife called our bank, disputed the charges and they shut down my card and I ended up losing both disputes! So this company took me for $240. Now I have received a collection letter for $159.97. The people are very rude and will not give clear answers about what this collection account is regarding but after google searching I have realized it is this same terrible company! They are threatening with affecting my credit score and placing a judgment as well.
