On september, 2 2023 I signed a contract with new life paint and rehab LLC (*****/owner) in *************, his phone number is ************ and email is ******************************************* We agreed to install a dry wall 8x4 on all ceiling and walls in sunroom only. Texture all ceiling and walls, install base board in sunroom paint ceiling and walls, clean pavers and seal them with sealer. All materials were not included. All electrical plumbing were not included. For total amount of $3750 which 50% ($1875) is payed with a check. The estimated completed time was ***** days after inspection home owner is to inform. ************** was coming to work for a couple hours two to three days a week he did install drywall all around the windows and three sheets of drywall on the ceiling which covers less than 25% of the area that was required and did not show up after that. One time he said that he claimed ordered some tools to install the ceiling sheet but after he said that he injuried his knee, then his back. ************** promised to have atleast two helpers to complete the job within ***** days and I helped borrow a scaffold ( a special step ladder stand) to install ceiling drywall. But due to his absence i had to return the scaffold to its owner and re borrow it three times over the last six months but he never showed up to finish the job neither did he send any of his helpers to finish agreed on job. But he asked me to buy him two not only one scaffold if i wanted him to come back to work. According to our contract I am not obligated to supply necessary tools and equipment so I had to hire someone else to finish the job and i asked ***** to refund me the balance of unfinished job. *********************, using foul language refused to refund my money, Your help is highly appreciated in collecting $1500 of my paid deposit back.
