      I signed up for the service in Oct 2023. I completed the onboarding steps and received a confirmation email that my onboarding documents, which include a statement about why I wanted the companys help, was received. The final step for me was to send in a copy of my resume. I sent my resume and scheduled the first available appointment which was almost a month later on Nov 16, 2023 I received no other requests for info during the month long wait for my appointment with ******. I was very disappointment when I joined the web meeting and ****** said that she did not have my resume. One of the goals this meeting was to review my ************ had not reviewed my resume in advance. And no one had reached out in weeks that I waited to have the meeting to request my resume. I sent the resume while we were in the meeting. For the price of this service I had expected ****** to prepare for the meeting in advance and she had not.It was also clear that ****** had NOT read my onboarding documents because she suggested multiple jobs that were of the type I had clearly stated I did NOT want in my onboarding questionnaire. When I said thats exactly the type of job I do NOT want she said my resume did not read like I had the experience for the job I wanted. ****** had advertise her companys service as helping job seekers get their resumes ready for the job they wanted so why did she expect my resume to be ready before her team had worked on it?I asked ****** to send me a job description that was in line with the type of role I wanted next so that I could update my resume for the job I wanted and email it to ******. She said she would send it to me. I did not receive the job description from ****** during or after our meeting on *** 11/16. I sent a follow-up email requesting the info on Fri 11/19 and she did not respond. Maddies team email me on 11/22 asking for my updated resume but I never got the reference doc from ****** for my resume rewrite.

      I invested $1000 in the reverse recruiting service, covering strategy and interview preparation, and added an additional $250 for the company to handle job applications on my behalf. My expectation was a seamless integration of both services for a comprehensive job search experience.Regrettably, the service fell short of my expectations. It commenced with a resume lacking essential details, prompting me to make necessary modifications myself. This initial concern raised a red flag. As job applications were underway, I reached out with questions via email in early December, receiving no response until almost the end of the month.The absence of feedback from applied jobs or her team prompted a discussion, leading to a re-strategizing call on January 8th. Despite our discussion, I found myself waiting for an updated resume for weeks. As February approached, and with no progress, my patience wore thin, considering my service period was drawing to a close. When I requested a refund, she only refunded the $250, neglecting the integrated nature of the services I initially purchased.Upon exploring her TikTok page, where she promotes an all-encompassing service, I couldn't help but notice the disparity with my experience. Her TikTok content suggested that clients should receive callbacks, and if not, she pivots resumes and sourcing strategy. Unfortunately, this pivotal step was absent in my case. The service delivered did not align with the comprehensive approach she highlighted on her TikTok, and the lack of responsiveness throughout the process has been disheartening and is reason I'm asking for refund.

      I haven't heard from the business. 

       

      I messaged them my last day of contract after weeks of not hearing back asking again for a refund. They responded they would reach out to me in 48h and i haven't heard back that was a couple weeks ago. 

       

      What form of communication do you reach out to them in ?

       

      If they do not respond to the BBB i would like to take this to court. What is the time line that you will give them to respond before the case is closed.
