Had soffitt expert llc replace the soffitt and facia on 3 buildings including our church and apx 6-9 months later the soffitt is falling and the owner of the company **** has said he would get his guys out to correct it and for over 8 weeks now we appear to have been put on ignore , ******* ship was supposed to be covered for 1 yearBusiness response

Business response taken verbally by BBB:
We went out there and repaired the soffit on 1 building that occurred due to damage from a storm. We are unaware of any other damage to the other buildings mentioned, as it was never reported.

We purchased a Manufactured home in ********************* in July of 2022. We thought we needed new gutters on our home and made phone contact with Soffitt Experts. No one came to evaluate the issue until after we had given a deposit of $645.00 on 14 JUL 2022 over the phone. A short time later a young man showed up, took 5 minutes looking our gutters, made some remarks about how he could not do what we wanted and left. I made phone contact with *************************** who said they would credit my account. I had to replace my credit card so the number they had was no longer valid. 28 Oct 22, he said a check would be delivered by Wednesday. 9 Jan 23, I requested the check be sent again. 26 jan 23 request again sent, response was "you should receive it by Wednesday. On 9 Feb 23, I advised him we had not received a check and again, "Monday Morning" 14 Feb 23, no check, "Bill, it was put in the mail Saturday so you should get it tomorrow". 17 Feb 23, no check and I asked for his office address so I could come by. He advised he would have "one of my guys drop off a check at your house tomorrow". 18 Feb 23, no one came by. 20 Feb 23 no check and I was asked if I had "Zelle". I don't. 22 Feb 23, I asked again, and on 24 Feb 23, ********* assured me he would personally drop it off by 14:00. 14:15, I asked if her were close as I had errands. No answer. 3 Mar 23, 7 Mar 23 inquires via text, no answer. 9 Mar 23 inquire by text, "you should have it by Saturday" Due to health issues, I had to return to ******** for treatment. I had a neighbor check my mailbox on 17 APR 23 and no check. I have attempted to call and text Balmeseda with no answer.Initial Complaint

Over 1 yr ago I hired Soffit Experts to replace all my soffit and facia boards. They came out and performed the work and did a great job. After about a week or two, I noticed one area of the soffit was sagging. I called Alex and sent photos to let him know of the issue and he assured me that they would come out and take care of the sagging soffit. For over 1 year, I have been chasing him, via calls and text messages. On a few occasions he provided me with a repair date; however, he nor any of his crew have ever shown up on the scheduled date to perform the repair. I understand that Soffit Experts may be busy; however, I do not believe there is any excuse as to why Alex could not get the repair done within the one year plus that I have been chasing him. There has been ample time and opportunity to put me on the schedule for the repair. He is ignoring my calls and text messages and barely responds to any communication from me. All I want is for them to repair the sagging soffit. If he is not willing to come and fix the soffit that he installed, then I think it would be fair and reasonable for me to hire another company to come and perform the repair work and he pay for the repair or reimburse me for the cost of the repair. (The attached photo indicates the area where the soffit is sagging; however, due to the angle / white color it is not very noticeable. Alex was provided with this phots and came out over a year ago to look at it which he said he would take care of the issue.)
