Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/28) */ The work that was promised to ***** ***** was carried out in a timely manner once all proper documentation was received. We searched our databases and what we found was that ***** reached out to us by email on October 12, 2021 and asked us to reschedule his payment which we did. ***** did not reach out to us with his concerns of his monthly membership until February 7th when he sent an email asking us to cancel his payment. All further payments were cancelled immediately, therefore billing adjustment was not needed. We wish ***** luck with his future endeavors.

Nov 2018 to Present. My daughter graduated from college and we thought we had to hire someone to consolidate her student loans so we went with USSLC a servicing company. They set her up with Nelnet. This was all fine and then there was the issue of charging her $39 a month to service the Loan? Immediately she was inundated with emails and phone calls much like SPAM. In order to make this stop I switched email to myself and my phone number. I also made 2 One time payments of around $390 to stop the Servicing fee for a year. This was on my personal credit card. I was told the fee was covered until 09/21 by a Johnny G. Then I noticed a few weeks ago that my account was being used for the $39 fee in June and July 2021. This is Fraud. USSLC saved my credit card information to use when they felt like it. I happen to work for this bank. I contacted Nelnet and they said the loan does not need servicing especially since student loans are on hold.

      10/18/2021

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/13) */ **** ********* never communicated any concerns regarding the emails and calls received from us. At USSLC, we pride ourselves in addressing our clients' concerns immediately. Mrs. ********* did make a payment to cover the monthly membership for one year. This payment was made in May of 2020 which made the next payment due in June of 2021. **** ********* contacted our office on August 30, 2021 and at her implied request, we have cancelled her daughter's file and any future transactions. We wish them both the best in their future endeavors. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/09/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I just wanted them to leave me and my daughter alone. They did barrage my daughter with emails. I had her block them and I paid them twice to stop the $39 fee? Never would explain what serving they were providing. I became the main contact. They would not respond to voice mails. USSLC kept my card information and decided to make two withdrawals from my account in June and July without my permission (Fraud) without my knowledge. I want to know they will destroy my credit card information. Luckily I happen to work for this bank and can monitor my account daily. I would like the last 2 service fees of $39 back since they were taken without my permission or knowledge. Servicing what during this pandemic and halt to student loans. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/09/23) */ We were able to speak with **** ********* and resolved the matter to everyone's satisfaction. Thank you!
