I received care for a surgical clearance back in December 2023. I explained to the physician and the nurse that a pregnancy test was not necessary as I am no longer able to get pregnant. They agreed and so the pregnancy test was not done. I paid in full all the services that were rendered at the end of that visit excluding the pregnancy test. Since then, I have received NUMEROUS bills for a pregnancy test. I have called customer service to which they say they cannot help me. I have called the billing office and they say that it has been escalated numerous times. I have asked to speak with supervisors to which I finally spoke with one at the Wesley Chapel location. She called and assured that it would be taken care of, and she would call me back. She never did. I continue to receive bills in the mail. I have sent them back with Notes stating that this is never been done and I have called countless times asking them to please remove the erroneous charge. Nothing ever gets done. I am sitting here looking at another bill in June 2024 for the same thing. I am exhausted with these bills. Nobody will help you if you call Customer Service. Nobody will help you if you call the billing department. Nobody will help you if you call the facility to which services were rendered.. I will never go back to this place ever again and as an RN myself, I’ve worked 30 years in the industry, including 15 for a major insurance company and never ever can I fathom putting a patient through this! They need to revamp their very poor customer service. They have caused undue anxiety for no reason!!
