    On 11/30/2021 I purchased a rebuilt transmission for my 2008 Land Rover LR2. This letter outlines the multiple problems I had with the valve body on the rebuilt transmission and subsequently with the rebuilt valve you sent to replace it. Once my transmission was removed, we noticed I needed to replace the flywheel. A new flywheel was ordered which took approximately 2 months to receive. After receiving the new flywheel, the flywheel and transmission were installed on 2/15/2022. After receipt of the rebuilt transmission, it took two and a half months before we were able to install due to waiting for the flywheel. After the installation I began driving the LR2 again. Immediately I began having problems with the transmission. The car would go into limp mode. I called Roverland several times and discussed the problems with ****. I would have my car towed to my mechanic, *********** ************** at least 10 different times during the year. Each time I left the car at McCulloughs they were unable to get a code which would identify the problems. After the last time I picked up the car, without finding a problem, the problems started again. I left the car at the shop again so they could investigate. After talking to **** again, he offered to send me a rebuilt valve body at no cost to me. The valve body was sent to McCulloughs. The installation of this valve body cost $1340.After the installation of the rebuilt valve body which **** sent, once again, the solenoids in the valve body were not functioning. This time **** told me I would need to purchase a rebuilt part for $1000 with another $1000 installation fee. I did and it was installed on 2/6/2023.
