I hired this company to transport a vehicle I purchased on 12/26/23 from ***** to ******, **. Once the vehicle was delivered I noticed the car in front of my car on a multi car hauler was not secured properly and had rolled back into my car damaging the rear bumper and trunk lid. Initially the owner would not allow me to note damages on a bill of lading and threatened to take my car back to ***** without my authorization. I called law enforcement and prior to them arriving the transport company gave me an invoice which we both signed in which I noted the damages. They left prior to law enforcement arriving. I filed a claim with their insurance provider, Progressive. Progressive sent an adjuster to inspect the damages and I was given a repair estimate of $1453.88. My claim was investigated and approved. I was issued a payment of $453.88 from progressive because the policy had a $1000 deductible. Progressive also sent an email to the business stating that they had paid their portion of the claim and that per their policy agreement, the company was responsible for contacting me ASAP to pay me the deductible they were responsible for. I have called, texted, and emailed Azan Trucking LLC and have been ignored. My text show read receipts. I even requested $1000 on cashapp as this was the method I used to pay them for their transport services. They denied my request.
