I'm leaving the shop after my third attempt to pick up my car. I initially brought my car in to fix radio wiring issues. Once I picked it up, the audio was partially fixed, and we left it again for them to fix. They recommended a new wiring unit, so I purchased one for just under $200.On the second attempt to pick up my car, the audio had different sound issues, and my mic was not working for calls. At this point, I spent roughly $470 and had more issues than before. We take it back.Third attempt to pick up. The audio works, but the chime module has a static/fuzz noise. The noise goes ** in pitch when the engine is revved. They tell me that's just how the company makes their chime modules. It's clearly interference from a wire being connected wrong. I assume they were just trying to get me to leave. Also, my radio shuts off mid-drive now on occasion.

On September 11, 2023, On requirement from the ******* ********** of ***** Vehicles, I took my vehicle, a Saturn SC 2 to A and B Audio in **************, **. to have a Intoxalock interlock breath-analyzer installed, so that I can comply with the requirements needed for me to get my driver's license re-instated. The car was running fine upon my arrival. When I returned to pick up the vehicle, the manager informed me that their technician knew that my car has a problem with the ignition switch, and that they had to hook my car to a battery charger while it was in their shop to have the Intoxalock device installed. He then proceeded to Inform me that if the battery went dead again, the vehicle will "lock out", and then I will have to incur the towing cost back to A and B Audio, as well as pay them another additional $40 or more fee, to "re-calibrate" the Intoxalock, so that my vehicle will start and run again. This company went ahead with the installation of their device on my vehicle, when they knew in advance that the ignition was going to drain the battery as soon as I left, and they went ahead and installed the device, knowing that their failure to advise me that the device should not have been installed until the faulty ignition switch was replaced by my car repair shop first. This business then charged my vehicle at their shop, so that I could leave, but they knowingly set me up to collect more unnecessary money from me, when ethically speaking, they should have never installed the device when they already knew that it would fail. I never received a phone call to come pick the vehicle up, because it was not suitable at the time electrically, to keep the Intoxalock device powered up. Then they proceeded with putting it in my vehicle, knowing these facts ahead of time, without informing me with transparency in my purchase of their product. I am dissatisfied with this attempt to extort money from me, I should have been notified FIRST that their device would fail.

The customer informed us of the problem with the ignition switch as the vehicle was being dropped off. We were also told that the car would be repaired by a mechanic. So we proceeded with the install. The device supplied by Intoxalock and in no way would it affect the repair from being done. The device is ordered by the court when you get a DUI. We are just the service center and contracted by Intoxalock to do installs, removals and calibrations. The customer was informed that because the key could not be turned all the way off the vehicle would need to have a charger hooked up so the battery does not die. The device will register that as tampering and will go into lock out mode causing the vehicle to not start. The coustomer would then have to call Intoxalock and pay a lock out fee to them to reset the lock out. After a lockout has happened the device would then need to be calibrated by a service center. Service centers are not allowed to do calibrations without the vehicle on the premises. Therefore the vehicle would need to be towed to a service center. The device has not failed. It is working as it is supposed too with no faults. It is the vehicle that is failing.      We will not remove it as it is court ordered and a felony to do so!
