On April 22, 2023 Paver Seal Tampa sealed our then brand new pavers. Contract states they used Silica Sand and Ure-Seal sealer. 4 months later ****** was washed off and we contacted the company. They tried to up-sell us (asked more money) to fix the job. Owner hung up the phone on us. He later lied in a public ****** review saying he tried to schedule an inspection (he never did). I was told they used the wrong wrong sand (not Silica Sand) which ruined the pavers with the white stripes and cracking between the pavers. It gives no protection against rain or sun; the whole point of sealing pavers! Company said they are not responsible for "spaces between the pavers" and that its "normal that this washes off so quickly". Getting this mess cleaned up (sealer removed) is a very expensive undertaking. Pavers have to be power washed and a special sealer-remover must be used to clean all this up. Then pavers need to be re-sanded and re-sealed. That's an estimate of $2500. Paver Seal Tampa is not communicating with us. Not answering us. We wrote another email on 1/31/24 pointing to their warranty here: *********************************************************************************************** where it states:"Paver Seal Tampa warrants stand-alone sealing service without maintenance or upkeep on all residential applications against defects in material failure such as cracking, peeling or turning white/yellow as follows: up to 3 years on residential warranties using Ure-Seal H2O on concrete brick pavers. Paver Seal Tampa will repair all manufactures defective sealer."We have all of these issues: cracking, peeling and turning white. The white residue on our pavers is the worst part. It looks so messy and ugly. They have not responded, not come out to inspect, not offered repair and have argued with me that there is NO problem (even though they never came out to inspect it at all). At this point, we don't trust them to do any more work on our pavers and would like a full REFUND.
