      I contacted ABC Marine Services to do some work on my ******* outboard boat motor at my house. *** contacted me via text on May 15,2023 to give me the service fees I agreed to(see screen shot ******) $179 service fee for the fist hour that included first hour of labor, then $145 an hour labor after that. No other fees mentioned or agreed to. ***************** came out May 16,1st visit and basically inspected the motor and said a wire to the stator needed replaced(a few inches of wire and two wire connectors (see only *** part paid for by them image). Total time at house 23 minutes. *** deemed this as the one hour service call at $179.**** came out for the second visit for one hour 5 minutes. This visit he installed the controls and replaced the few inches of stator wire and 2 connectors. These first two visits are on the first invoice(invoice 1) for a charge of $425.50 for a total of 1 hour and 28 minutes. *** said via text first hour service fee $179 includes first hour of labor the $145 an hour, based on that, the invoice should have been for $179 first hour and 28 minutes at approximately $2.42 a minute total $67.76(@ $145 an hour rate). Plus charge for wire and connectors. Labor should have been $246.76 + about $12.00 parts. $258.76 total not $425.50...Over charge $166.74 ****'s third visit resulted in the second invoice(invoice 2) for $290. Labor was for 46 minutes @ $2.42 a minute which should have totaled $111.32(see screen shot ******). When I questioned *** about the charges he he adjusted the invoice to $145(see invoice 3). *** then tried to justify the charges referencing charges I didn't agree to. Such as $40 an hour travel(see screenshot ******) water load test fee $179(screenshot ******. ***, then tried to say someone named ******* was trying to do me a favor charging me for 2 hours labor(screenshot ******). I informed ******** only agreed to Service /an hour labor fee(screenshot ******). I was told contact would be made for refund(183718)

      This guy has called our business several times slurring his speech and apparently under the influence or something. 

      We sent a tech out who fixed his boat.  It broke down again, we sent someone back out to fix it. He complained about the amount of the bill and we tried to help him because he kept saying he was on a fixed income. 

      We have gone above and beyond to try and make.things right for *****************  

      He has been offered a full refund, and it will be issued with 10 days. 

      See attached Pic where he tries to get one of ************** to work.on the side for him.  

       

      I think it is quite obvious based on the breakdown of his explanation that this guy is not going to be satisfied regardless of what we do. 

      He also wrote a ****** review to wich we responded as well.

      I am rejecting this response because:  The business representative has not offered me a refund as claimed.  If this offer is as said please advise the way in which it will be sent. I would also like to remind the business

      That claims made against an individual is Libel by legal definition.  I have never had communications with this person slurring my words, the mechanic was called back due to the reason on the invoice as supplied by *** Marine.

      In closing let the record show the boat does not go on a plane still and that was the reason why I called for repair in the first place.
