              I booked a room with a Gulf View (ocean view). After getting through the check in process I was told I had a bay view after being charged parking fees, resort fees, etc. which were refunded immediately. The bay view is not the same as the Gulf. They didn't tell me at check in this was the case, that they disregarded what I booked. Maybe overbooked? Doesn't matter. You are looking at a salt water river that has a funky odor. Not looking at the beauty of the **************. Not what I ordered to relive stress. When I got there, more stress. I never went into the room, never left the lobby. Informed the staff of their error and that I needed a refund for both nights. They refused to give me a refund even though my booking was not correct. Not getting what I actually booked. I booked the dates of May 8th and 9th at Treasure Bay Resort & Marina. I received a refund for May 9th. A refund should be given in good faith for May 8th. Good business practices. Don't give me what I ordered, give me my money back. I ordered a Gulf view. I didn't get a Gulf view. They didn't give me what I ordered and I still have to pay? That is not right at all. I ended up staying at a different hotel putting out more money. Treasure Bay Resort & Marina so far have been unreasonable. Expedia.com should be brought into thus as well as they didn't stand by their client.

              The hotel was very dirty. ******* the manager was very rude and should be demoted as a manager. I have pictures of the room and will call Headquarters and post the pictures as a ****** Review, plus notify the BBB. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THAT HOTEL AGAIN !! Especially, when I'm threatened that the police will be called because I complained about the room after I paid in FULL $650.00.and only got a $30.00 discount! The stairs were filthy, comforter had red stains and the coffee maker was nasty. They offered to put me in a room, but to move would be an inconvenience and based on the wedding party I was with, the bride and groom had a dirty room as well. Why would I take that chance when the hotel was dated and dirty. I just wanted to talk to the manager about a discount, but talking to the manager went completely left. Apparently, if your asked IF YOU WANT TO SWITCH ROOMS it's NOT a choice ITS A MUST!! if you don't and ask for a discount, you are subject to be kicked out and threatened to have the police called, even when your NOT being disrespectful.
