      On 8/29/22, we traded in a vehicle (2021 ************* for $50,000) and purchased a new vehicle (2023 ******* Palisade for $55,491.19) from this dealership. (Deal reference is #NU410413) They told us that they were a newly opened location and were still getting their processes fully up and running. They pressured us to change lenders (we went in with a loan already approved through our financial institution) because they "didn't have the capital/liquidity to front $100k in loans" ($50k to pay off our *** and $55K to release the *******) and needed our financing to run through a bank that would complete a wire payment within 1-2 days. We complied and took possession of the new car that night, with our loan funded to them by week's end. It took over 8 weeks, and multiple calls, for the title of our new car to clear from the prior owners and become active for us to move the loan back to our bank. They took no responsibility and blamed a third party vendor that "handles their title work". As of today, 11/8/22 -- 10+ weeks after we signed paperwork, the loan on the vehicle we traded in (***) has still not been paid off. We have called and emailed to follow up no less than **** times, speaking with various members of management. They first claimed to have sent the payment on 10/5/22, via Fed Ex, but no tracking numbers are available. No one will help us and we are still on the hook for over $50k for a vehicle we no longer have. Additionally, the financing we took out under their pressure has cost us hundreds in additional interest, all due to their negligence in processing the required/expected/promised paperwork to clear the titles and pay off the loan(s) on the vehicles they bought/sold. There has been zero effort on the part of Motor Trend's management to respond to our requests or resolve the issues. The business practices we have endured are negligent, at best, and criminal at their worst.

      I am rejecting this response because, without a tracking number, there is no evidence to show that payment was actually sent. The same claim was made (in writing) on 10-8-22 (see attachment), stating that a check was sent on 10-5-22, but tracking numbers were never provided, despite multiple requests. That payment never happened either. Additionally, I was contacted by a dealership representative and he said that the payment amount was around $49k and change, yet the paperwork stated an exact payoff of $50,113, plus per diem interest charges that have been accruing since 9-9-22 (see attachment). IF a check, in his reported amount, was sent, it still will not satisfy the loan balance that was guaranteed on the transaction paperwork. 

      I told him that I also expect to be reimbursed for the additional fees ($628.05) we have incurred due to their negligence in delayed processing of the title paperwork, but he said that he would be forwarding the information on to the General Manager for review. All in all, they continue to make claims with no proof and fail to meet their agreed upon obligations. Until complete resolution is made, I maintain my position.

      I purchased a vehicle from Motortrend on August 5th and have since when going back and forth regarding a tag. They keep saying they sent the paperwork to the **** but I have contacted the *** and they have not recieved anything from them. Legally, in the **************** they have 30 days and it has been nearly 60 and I am still without a tag. No one will return my phone calls or speak to me.

      I received a letter in the mail saying I could potentially win a prize. Putting my skepticism aside, I decided the review it and came up with no fine print other than a QR code and what looked like a lottery ticket that said I could win a prize if I managed to get three of a kind, which I ended up getting. The listed prize was a 55 inch TV. Still skeptical, I called the number and explained that I thought I had won a prize and was told that if I want to claim it, today is the last day. I provided a confirmation number which I assumed was to verify my identity because they were able to pull up my name and thought nothing of it. I made an appointment to claim the prize, seeing that it was near the gym I go to and figured it couldn't hurt. I got there and spoke with someone at the front desk who told me to go speak to some guy in the corner of the store. Two people ahead of me presented their tickets and he told them that three of kind didn't matter because the confirmation number had to match as well. Both people walked away annoyed by this and then I got the same treatment. I questioned what the point of the three of a kind was and he told me I should have kept reading and that I'm not first the person to make that mistake. No kidding. The two guys ahead of me thought the same thing. The tagline on what I was sent read "If you match three symbols in a row, you win!" There was no other statement about also needing a winning confirmation number. The girl on the phone didn't mention it either. I was told that if I had come by sooner, I could have gotten a gift card. Somehow, I doubt that. If two other people did this just in the time I was there, I wouldn't be surprised if every ticket has three of a kind. In part, I get that it's to get people into the store but false advertising is false advertising.

      THE WORST *****! ******************* UP ON ME BECAUSE I REQUESTED FOR A SUPERVISOR TO CALL ME BACK FOR 4 DAYS NOW AND NO ONE CALLS BACK! THE ***** IS RUDE, THERE ALL COMMITTING IDENTITY THEFT AND STEAL THE PRIZES FROM THE PEOPLE THAT WON THE MONEYOPOLY. EVERY DAY THEY TOLD HIM TO COME BACK TOMORROW. THIS WENT ON FOR 3 DAYS ONLY TO BE LIED TO ON THE 3RD DAY AND TOLD THAT WE HAD TO BUY A CAR TO COLLECT YOUR PRIZE. WE SAW PEOPLE LEAVE WITH THEIR PRIZE'S. THEY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST US AND ON SATURDAY THEY HAD TOLD US WE ONLY HAVE TO TAKE A TOUR OF THE ***** TO GET IT OR WE WOULD NOT HAVE GONE BACK 2 MORE TIMES AS INSTRUCTED! THE REP ON THE ***** SAID THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST GIVEN IT TO US THAT WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO DO THE ***** IM SO DISCUSTED WITH HOW THEY PICK WHO THEY WANT TO HELP! THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT BECAUSE THEY MADE IT SO AND ITS ILLEGAL! I WANT THE ** THEY PROMISED.
