      On February 12th 2024, I made an appointment for a service at 11:30A.M. at DryBar. I was then called back about an hour later, as they made an error and need to reschedule me 1pm. I accepted this and said I could come in at 1pm to see my preferred stylist (the other stylists are inexperienced/not experienced enough to provide the service that I request), whose name is AB. At 12:25 p.m., 30 minutes before my appointment time, my stylist at Drybar contacted me letting me know that he needed to cancel my appointment. I spoke to the owner of the store to express my concerns about being rescheduled 3 times in one day, and she ended up being very agitated and charging ME a $25 cancellation fee after Drybar cancelled my appointment for 1pm. Drybar needs to refund the cancellation fee since they are the ones who cancelled my appointment.

      This guest was refunded on 2/13/24. Please find supporting documents attached. ********* signed a same day cancellation policy and decided not to come in on the day of her appointment. Our shop is not a book with a certain stylists platform. Our guests are able to request a stylist but not guaranteed to see them.  She was given options and choose not to continue with her appointment. In good faith she was refunded the fee which my shop was not obligated to do so.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Although what the company is rating is untrue, as my appointment was canceled for me by the business 30 minutes before my appointment  without my own doing or request.  Then I was charged a late fee for the business cancelling my appointment, they did finally refund me the bogus cancellation fee, therefore this issue is now resolved.
