At 8:42 AM, I came to pick up my dog from Poochie's Pet Hotel after 10 nights of boarding. I asked the female employee at the counter how my dog was doing? When they took bath for my dog? Also did my dog peed in the morning yet?- The female employee told me my dog was totally fine. After then, She took my dog out and we ( me and her) noticed that there was a dark spot on my dog's head. She didn't know what it was and she used tissue or something else to clean it up. However, the more she cleaned it, the more my dog's hair fell out and my dog was bleeding ( I have photos and video to prove). I told her to stop and called the owner so I could talk to her. After an argument over the phone with the owner, I took my dog to the vet for the check-up. In the afternoon, I received a voicemail from the Poochie's Pet Hotel asked me to call her back. Over the phone, she claimed that I violated her employee, that I mashed her employee's hand and they will call the police if I come back to her facility while I didn't violate or touch their employee, only interact with her to finish the process. I have a video as evidence that I interacted with the employee in the proper way. The entire story from beginning to the end, they even didn't apologize for what happened to my dog and what I had experienced as a new customer. They also didn't take proper care as they advertise their business in the contract that I signed. They also claim me for violation since I only interact without any harassment or violating actions. This is not a pleasant experience if I do not want to mention that I have to pay an extra bill for my dog's medication. She even questioned me why I captured a video of my dog and her employee. After I explained that I wanted to save the moment my dog sees me, she even didn't apologize for her assumption.

Every dog's owner in the area shall be aware of this business. I also do business, I have never given a bad review to any businesses if I can resolve the issue. In this case, I have to report this business for claiming me violation and didn't take good care of my dog during his stay.

Our employees are like family and we care about their safety. Unfortunately this customer thought her dog was bitten while under our care, due to a greasy substance on the dog's head. We tried to explain, and ease her worries that it was not possible for her dog to get a bite injury, considering her dog had no interaction with any of the other dogs at/within the facility. My employee was concerned and further continued to help the customer in figuring out what the greasy substance could be. She helped clean the area and did not notice any wounds, blood, or any other signs of a bite/and or cause of said spot. However, the customer became irate and proceeded to assault my employee by pushing and smacking her  away as she tried to look at the dog. This exchange was all caught on camera and confirms my employee's experience. It was later confirmed by the customer's personal vet after shaving the dogs hair that the dog was not bitten, and had no wounds or bite marks.This was relayed to the customer by the vet as well. It was revealed  that the dog was currently having skin problems prior to its stay, and was already being treated for the greasy substances and skin issues. The employee decided not to press charges after the assault so no further action was taken. However I knew I needed to protect my employees and business from further issues. I called and explained to her that we cannot have the employees being pushed, smacked or assaulted in any way. As such, she was informed that she was no longer allowed on the property or I would call the police due to her aggressive and inappropriate behavior. This dog was not injured at our facility which was confirmed by her vet. If the dog was injured or we noticed anything wrong we would call the customer immediately and seek treatment per our policy and procedures.
