I came to the store to purchase equipment for my rebuilt music room.
Funny, the professional companies who sell quality equipment have been very accommodating and actually wanted my business. I purchased several pieces of equipment,
I consider myself knowledgeable about audio and. video, having built systems with equipment that had an "A" rating according to Stereophile magazine.
Sadly, this person or persons of Excite feel that this is "superiority".
The response is representative of the treatment that I experienced in their store.

I asked if your store sold turntables. The information provided by your company representative was that nobody uses turntables anymore. That your store hadn't sold turntables for eight years but her husband can order turntables from vendors. She also said that the transaction was a disaster. I asked what was the brand and was told Denon. I told your wife that I had owned a Denon direct drive turntable in the past and asked if you could get a Linn turntable. No answer from your wife. Asked about amplifiers, and she pointed to an Acurus Amp on the floor . I am familiar with that brand.
I could go on about the lack of customer service and product knowledge, but no worries , I have no reason to return to your store .
However, your continued insults and misrepresentation of the facts in these responses shows the lack of professionalism I experienced in your store.
Btw, I bought a turntable and speakers from other shops that sell to "people like me ".
