On 04/11/2023 we signed a contract with Sealrite Pavers to install a small patio. We put 1/2 of total payment down as a deposit. Sealrite Pavers indicated it would be 6 to 8 weeks to receive materials and install the patio. We contacted them in the beginning of June to get information about the progress of the project. Sealrite Pavers said they were waiting for materials. On June 5th (or so) Sealrite Pavers called to say they had the materials and would install by June 11, 2023. Sealrite Pavers called back on June 6 or 7 to delay because they didn't have enough employees to install the patio. We rescheduled for July 6th, 2023 . We called several times on June 30th to confirm. On June 30th Sealrite Pavers confirmed they would install the patio on July 6th, 2023. On July 3rd Sealrite Pavers called back and moved the install to July 10, 2023 because they were short-handed. On July 7th Sealrite Pavers called back to say they no longer had the materials to install the patio. They had used our materials for another project. Sealrite Pavers would have to reorder our materials. I then asked for a refund of deposit and to cancel contract. The woman I talked to said she couldn't make that decision but would talk to the owner of Sealrite Pavers and would call me back. She did not call back. We have called but they will only say that the owner isn't in the office and hasn't come into the office. It doesn't seem like a complicated decision. We would like them to contact us and let us know so we can move forward with our plans. Obviously they have a staffing problem and a inventory control problem. These are issues that are within the control of the company. We would like a refund, but would also appreciate some basic customer service. We have initiated most contact with the company and usually call several times before we reach anyone at Sealrite Pavers or get a call back from them. We have also complied with every schedule change with politeness and accommodation.Business response
