I have a Transportation Small Business and I got Cargo Insurance on August 2021 with Forerunner Insurance Group from Longwood Florida. Because the Insurance was a high amount I paid a down payment of $4,914.45 and I financed the difference with a Finance Company and my monthly payments were $2,904.52. On January 2022 I found another insurance policy for half the price and I switched. On 01/11/22 I cancelled the insurance with Forerunner and according to the cancellation policy the whole process, cancellation and refund, would take 60 business day. It was the beginning of my nightmare with this company. I do not know what happened between Forerunner and the finance company but they withdrew from my account the payment of $2,904.52 corresponding to the month of January after my cancellation request. I had to put an stop payment with my bank because they stated that they would resolve the issue between 30 days or more because I had automatic payments, of course after my stop payments they remove the the automatic payments, but they were not the ones to give me the money back. It was MY BANK. On March 29, 2022 I contacted the Finance Company to ask about my refund and they stated that they already sent the refund check to Forerunner Insurance on 02/24/2022 of the amount $2,373.26, I contacted Forerunner Insurance and they said the cancellation process is 60 business day, so I had to wait until the 6th, which is when the 60 days were up. On April 6th I sent them again an email to forerunner requesting my refund and they said the sent it out, but until today I have not received anything and they said they can not control the USPS Office, they are telling me that the check was send from "California" but I don't believe them because there is always a new back and forth. Also, to this day April 15th, 2022 I have not received anything from them.Business response
