I had an appointment with Dr. Aparna A. on 6/7/2022 for a consultation regarding some blood vessels on my legs that I wanted laser treatment for. I did research and their site indicates they use lasers for broken blood vessels. After filling out an outrageous amount of paperwork, asking way more questions than necessary, I was told the co-pay for the consult would be $50.00. I questioned this, as most consults are free. They said they required it and it would be applied to any future service. When they called me in, they did not send the Dr., only the PA was sent in. The PA said they don't do laser treatments on legs. I said really? It did not say that on the website. I guess it is implied that it is only for face, really? Anyway, since they did not offer what I wanted, the consult lasted for about 2 minutes. I went to the front desk to see if I could get my $50 back and they ultimately said no. They justified it, by saying I had the consult. Give me a break, what a scam. They did not offer me anything. Only that I could apply the co-pay to a future service. Yeah, right! Probably only a couple of expensive procedures that they would apply it to. I feel like I have been tricked and robbed.
